Michael James de Grey Allingham (born 6 January 1965) is a former Scotland international cricketer [1] and a former Scotland 'B' international rugby union player. He was born at Inverness in 1965.
Allingham played as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. [1] He was and educated at Strathallan School. He played 49 matches for Scotland,including first class,List A,international and ICC Trophy matches. [2]
He played as a scrum-half in rugby union for Heriot's. [3] He played provincially for North and Midlands [3] [4] and later played for Edinburgh District. He was capped by the Scotland 'B' side on 28 December 1991 to play against Ireland 'B'.
Allingham retired from rugby following a knee injury. [5]
In 2016,he was the head of sport at Edinburgh Academy. [6]

Alan Victor Tait is a former Scottish dual-code rugby footballer,and now coach. He is a defence coach at the Super 6 side Southern Knights. He was previously head coach at Newcastle Falcons and a former rugby union and professional rugby league footballer. He played outside centre for Scotland (RU),and the British and Irish Lions. He played club rugby union for Kelso,Edinburgh and the Newcastle Falcons;and club rugby league for Widnes and Leeds.

Doak previously worked as attack and backs coach of Irish provincial side Ulster from 2008 to 2017,where he also spent his professional playing career. During his time with Ulster,he had brief stints as a coach with Ireland and Emerging Ireland.
William Raymond Hunter was a Northern Irish cricketer and rugby union player. He played for Ireland in both sports. In cricket he won 28 international caps and played in 11 first-class matches. In rugby he played ten times for Ireland in the Five Nations,scoring one try. He also played for the British and Irish Lions.
Leslie Balfour-Melville,born Leslie Balfour,was a Scottish amateur sportsman,serving as captain,opening batsman,and wicket-keeper for the Scotland national cricket team.
Joe Ansbro is a former Scottish international professional rugby union player. He is the first player of African origin to represent Scotland at test level in history. His favoured position is centre. He most recently played for London Irish. After gaining 11 full international caps his rugby career ended due to serious neck injury at the age of 26.

Glasgow District is a Scottish amateur rugby union team which plays in the amateur Scottish Inter-District Championship. The side evolved into the professional provincial side Glasgow Warriors when the Scottish Rugby Union embraced professionalism. However the amateur district is still used for the representation of amateur players in the Inter-District Championship;and this amateur championship guides the selection of Scotland Club XV international players.
