Michael D. Kennedy (born May 21, 1969) is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head coach of the Elon Phoenix.

Career

Kennedy played college baseball at Elon for coaches Rick Jones and Mike Harden from 1988 to 1990. In 1989, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod Baseball League. [1] [2] Kennedy played in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) for 2 seasons from 1990 to 1991. [3] Under Kennedy, the Phoenix have won four Southern Conference regular season championships, one Southern Conference baseball tournament championship, one Colonial Athletic Association and made five NCAA Regional appearances. [4]

O'Sullivan also led the program to three consecutive appearances in the College World Series from 2010 to 2012 and four consecutive appearances from 2015 to 2018. He became the winningest coach in program history in 2021, surpassing Dave Fuller's 1975 record of 557 wins.

Brett Boretti is an American college baseball coach who has been the head coach of Columbia since the start of the 2006 season. Scott A. Friedholm is an American college baseball coach and former catcher. Friedholm is the head coach of the UNC Asheville Bulldogs baseball team.

Andy Baylock is a college athletics coach and administrator, most notable for serving as the head coach of the UConn Huskies baseball team from 1980–2003, appearing three times in the NCAA tournament and winning a pair of Big East Conference baseball tournament titles. At the time of his retirement, he was UConn's all-time wins leader, with 556, since eclipsed by his successor Jim Penders.

William Mosiello is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is a current assistant baseball coach for the TCU Horned Frogs and former head coach for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He played college baseball at Cerritos College from 1984 to 1985 before transferring to Fresno State where he played in 1986.
