Michael D. Kennedy (born May 21, 1969) is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the current head coach of the Elon Phoenix.

Career

Kennedy played college baseball at Elon for coaches Rick Jones and Mike Harden from 1988 to 1990. In 1989, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod Baseball League. [1] [2] Kennedy played in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) for 2 seasons from 1990 to 1991. [3] Under Kennedy, the Phoenix have won four Southern Conference regular season championships, one Southern Conference baseball tournament championship, one Colonial Athletic Association and made five NCAA Regional appearances. [4]

Gary R. Gilmore is an American college baseball coach who is currently the head coach of the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers. He has held the position since the start of the 1996 season. Providence announced it was cutting the program prior to the 1999 season, but the team won that year's Big East title and advanced to an NCAA Regional final.

Brett Boretti is an American college baseball coach who has been the head coach of Columbia since the start of the 2006 season. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Division III Franklin & Marshall from 2001 to 2005. As a head coach, Boretti has led teams to four NCAA tournaments, three of them in Division I.
