John Pawlowski (born September 6, 1963) is an American baseball coach and former pitcher. He played college baseball at Clemson for coach Bill Wilhelm from 1983 to 1985 and in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 2 seasons from 1987 to 1988. He then served as head coach of the College of Charleston Cougars (2000–2008), the Auburn Tigers (2009–2013) and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers (2016–2022).

Pawlowski attended Seton Catholic Central High School in Binghamton,New York and played college baseball at Clemson. [1]
Pawlowski had a short career in the Major Leagues with the Chicago White Sox where he played on the 1987 and 1988 teams,appearing as a pitcher in eight total games. [2]
On June 20,2008,Pawlowski was named the head baseball coach of the Auburn Tigers. [3] In 2009,his first season with Auburn,the Tigers finished with a 31–25 record,and just 11 wins in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play. In 2010,he responded with a 38–17 and 20 SEC win season,making it the most SEC wins an Auburn team has ever had in the regular season. The team had a losing league record for the next three seasons,however,and Pawlowski was fired at the end of the 2013 season. [4]
On June 4,2015,Pawlowski was named the head coach of the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. [5] On May 18,2022,Pawlowski submitted his resignation effective at the end of the season. [6]

Nicholas Lou Saban Jr. is an American sportscaster and former professional and college football coach. He serves as an analyst for ESPN's College GameDay,a television program covering college football. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest football coaches of all time. Saban served as head coach of the National Football League (NFL)'s Miami Dolphins and at four universities:Louisiana State University (LSU),Michigan State University,the University of Toledo and most famously the University of Alabama,where he last coached from 2007 to 2023.
Timothy Adam Hudson,nicknamed "Huddy",is an American former professional baseball pitcher of Major League Baseball (MLB). After spending his college years at Chattahoochee Valley Community College and Auburn University,Hudson played in the major leagues for the Oakland Athletics (1999–2004),the Atlanta Braves (2005–13),and the San Francisco Giants (2014–15). Sunny Golloway is the head baseball coach at NCAA Division II Northeastern State University in Tahlequah,Oklahoma. His most recent stint as head baseball coach of a NCAA Division I institution was at Auburn. He was fired September 27,2015. He succeeded coach John Pawlowski. Golloway was hired by Auburn University on June 14,2013. Prior to becoming the head coach of Auburn,he was the head coach at Oklahoma.
Jeffrey Scott Brohm is an American football coach and former quarterback. He is the head football coach at his alma mater,the University of Louisville,a position he has held since the 2023 season. Brohm played college football for the Louisville Cardinals under coach Howard Schnellenberger from 1989 to 1993. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons from 1994 to 2000 and the XFL in 2001. Timothy Carter Corbin is the head baseball coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores baseball team. Since becoming coach at Vanderbilt in 2003,Corbin has transformed the Commodores from a perennial Southeastern Conference doormat to an elite program. Monte Wesley Lee is an American baseball coach,who is the associate head coach/hitting coach for the South Carolina Gamecocks. He played college baseball for the Charleston Cougars from 1996 to 1999. He then served as the head coach of the College of Charleston Cougars (2009–2015). Under Lee,the Cougars reached four NCAA tournaments,including one NCAA Super Regional. As the head coach of the Clemson Tigers (2016–2022),his teams made four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and was nationally ranked in the top 25 in total wins (2016-2022). In college baseball,Shollenberger started out with the Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team as an assistant coach in 1974. He then became the head coach for Middle Georgia Junior College in 1976. As the head coach for Western Kentucky University from 1977 to 1979,Shollenberger had 77 wins,64 losses and 3 ties.
