Mindaugas Timinskas (born March 28, 1974) is a Lithuanian former professional basketball player and basketball coach. He represented the senior Lithuanian national basketball team.
Born in Šilutė, Lithuanian SSR, Timinskas played NCAA Division I college basketball, in the United States, at Iona College, from 1993 to 1997.
After college, Timinskas returned to Lithuania. Timinskas began his pro career in the 1997–98 season, after he signed with his home town team of Šilutė. At the time, the team was playing in the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL).
Timinskas left his main mark in his career, while playing with the Spanish Liga ACB club TAU Cerámica, during the EuroLeague 2000–01 Finals. During the finals, he had three double-digit scoring games, most notably with 18 points scored in Game 4, to force the series to a fifth and final contest. His rim-rocking dunk in that game, is still remembered as one of the greatest highlights of the EuroLeague's modern era (2001 to present). [1]
Timinskas was named the head coach of the Cary Academy varsity basketball team, for the 2012–13 season, replacing Kenny Inge. He was let go following the 2015–16 season. [2]

Dejan Bodiroga is a Serbian basketball executive and former professional player, who is currently the President of EuroLeague Basketball. In 1998 and 2002, he received the Golden Badge award for the best athlete of Yugoslavia, and the Yugoslav Olympic Committee also declared him the Sportsman of the Year. He was named to the FIBA All-Time EuroStars Team in 2007. In 2018, he was named one of the 101 Greats of European Basketball. HoopsHype named Bodiroga one of the 75 Greatest International Players Ever in 2021. He was inducted into the Greek Basket League Hall of Fame in 2022.
Basketball Club Žalgiris is a professional basketball club based in Kaunas, Lithuania. They compete domestically in the Lithuanian Basketball League and internationally as a long-term licensed EuroLeague team. Marcus James Brown is a retired American professional basketball player. At 6'3" tall, he played as a shooting guard. A three time All-EuroLeague selection, Brown has been mentioned as being one of the top U.S. players ever to play abroad. Brown ended his career as a player-coach with Žalgiris Kaunas in 2011. Brown was the EuroLeague's career scoring leader since the year 2000, when he ended his career in October 2011. He earned an All-EuroLeague Second Team selection in 2005, while leading the competition in rebounds, with an average of 10.6 per game. He won various European national domestic league championships and national domestic cup titles, in three different European countries.
