Mir Afsar Ali or Mir (birth: 13 Feb 1975) [1] is an Indian radio jockey, television anchor, singer, comedian, actor and media personality. He was the host of Mirakkel, a Comedy show on Zee Bangla and Hi Kolkata on Radio Mirchi. He read on the show Sunday Suspense on Radio Mirchi. [2] He is also the producer and presenter of the Bengali food vlogging channel "Foodka" since 2017. [3]

The show features stand-up comedians who are judged by Paran Bandyopadhyay, Sreelekha Mitra and Rajatava Dutta. The band Bandage, with musicians Dwaipayan Saha, Nitin Mani, Suman Sinha, Subhajit Sarkar, Koushik and Saurav Bhattacharya, is responsible for the music. The Times of India has called it "one of the most popular shows on Bengali television", and the Daily Observer wrote that it "has garnered huge popularity in Bangladesh".

Arunoday Banerjee, better known as Rahul Banerjee, is an Indian actor works in Bengali language films and television. He made his stage appearance at the age of three with his father's theatre troupe Bijoygarh Atmaprakash play entitled Raj Darshan. Since then, he has acted in almost 450 stage shows, with his father's troupe and with Theatron. He was married to co-actress Priyanka Sarkar. He was catapulted to stardom for his role opposite Priyanka Sarkar in Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film was a massive box-office success. Kaantaye Kaantaye is Bengali suspense-thriller web-series directed by Joydeep Mukherjee and produced by Shyamsundar De. It is an adaptation of Narayan Sanyal's P. K. Basu series novel Sonar Kaanta, which is actually inspired by The Mousetrap of Agatha Christie. This is the second time P. K. Basu series has been adapted for the screen, the first time being in 1974 when Tarun Majumdar made Jadi Jantem featuring Uttam Kumar as the protagonist.
