Mir Afsar Ali or Mir (born 13 February 1975) [1] is an Indian radio jockey, television anchor, singer, comedian, actor and media personality. He was the host of Mirakkel, a Comedy show on Zee Bangla and Hi Kolkata on Radio Mirchi. He read on the show Sunday Suspense on Radio Mirchi. [2] He is also the producer and presenter of the Bengali food vlogging channel "Foodka" since 2017. [3]

Now he is running "Goppo Mir er Thek", an Audio-story show, on his YouTube channel "Mir Afsar Ali". As of January 2025, his channel has more than 1M subscribers and over 15 Crore views. [4]

Jagatdhatri or Jagaddhatri is an aspect of the Hindu goddess Durga, worshipped in the Indian state of West Bengal and other states like Odisha and Jharkhand. Maa Jagadhatri, the Goddess who is revered as the protector of the world. The Jagadhatri Puja and Mela at Bhanjpur Jagadhatri Podia is the biggest festival in Baripada, Odisha. <i>Mirakkel</i> Indian comedy-reality show

Mirakkel is an Indian reality show on Zee Bangla hosted by Mir Afsar Ali and directed by Subhankar Chattopadhyay. It is produced by Subhankar Chattopadhyay Productions. The show features stand-up comedians who are judged by Paran Bandyopadhyay, Sreelekha Mitra and Rajatava Dutta. The band Bandage, with musicians Dwaipayan Saha, Nitin Mani, Suman Sinha, Subhajit Sarkar, Koushik and Saurav Bhattacharya, is responsible for the music. The Times of India has called it "one of the most popular shows on Bengali television", and the Daily Observer wrote that it "has garnered huge popularity in Bangladesh".

Arunoday Banerjee, better known as Rahul Banerjee, is an Indian actor works in Bengali language films and television. He made his stage appearance at the age of three with his father's theatre troupe Bijoygarh Atmaprakash play entitled Raj Darshan. Since then, he has acted in almost 450 stage shows, with his father's troupe and with Theatron. He was married to co-actress Priyanka Sarkar. He was catapulted to stardom for his role opposite Priyanka Sarkar in Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film was a massive box-office success. He has subsequently appeared in films including Love Circus, Shono Mon Boli Tomay and Poti Poromesshor. His television debut was in the series Tumi Asbe Bole. Ka Kha Ga Gha is an Indian Bengali-language comedy film written and directed by Dr. Krishnendu Chatterjee and produced by Dr. Krishna Mukhopadhyay under the banner of Krishna Movies. Ka Kha Ga Gha is all about four young men Kalyan, an aspiring director, Kharaj, a script writer, Ganesh, an aspiring actor, and Ghanta, the antagonist in the team living in a dormitory. Taranath Tantrik is a fictional character of Bengali literature created by the legendary Bengali novelist Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay. Later his son Taradas Bandyopadhyay wrote several more stories featuring the character.

Tekka (transl. Ace) is a 2024 Indian Bengali-language vigilante action thriller film co-written and directed by Srijit Mukherji. Produced by Gurupada Adhikari and Dev under the banner of Dev Entertainment Ventures, the film is based on a story of the same name by Bhaskar Chattopadhyay, which itself is loosely inspired from the West Bengal School Service Commission recruitment scam (2022). Basu series novel Sonar Kaanta, which is actually inspired by The Mousetrap of Agatha Christie. This is the second time P. K. Basu series has been adapted for the screen, the first time being in 1974 when Tarun Majumdar made Jadi Jantem featuring Uttam Kumar as the protagonist.

Jointly produced by Nispal Singh and Dev under the banners of Surinder Films and Dev Entertainment Ventures respectively, the film stars Dev in dual roles, alongside Jisshu Sengupta in lead roles, while Barkha Bisht, Idhika Paul, Anirban Chakrabarti, John Bhattacharya and Sneha Bose play other pivotal roles. It marked Dev's debut as creative director and a comeback to the action genre after a few years.
