Miraj Islamic School is an Islamic school in Tompkinsville, Staten Island, New York City. An Islamic school and center, it serves its students from pre-k through 12th grade. [2] The school was established in 1996. It graduated its first class in 2011. The graduating class had 14 students. [1]
Felician University is a private Catholic university with two campuses in New Jersey, one in Lodi and one in Rutherford. Stapleton Heights is a neighborhood in northeastern Staten Island, New York City. It stands on the second of a series of hills that form a "backbone" running diagonally across the island from northeast to southwest, between Ward Hill and Grymes Hill; to the east is Stapleton, which is along the waterfront. It is an upper-middle-class enclave noted for its large older one-family homes, and for its view of Upper New York Bay and the Verrazano Narrows Bridge. Many of the grander homes of the neighborhood were constructed in the late 19th century by the families who controlled the industries along the waterfront, including the breweries that operated there until the last one closed in 1963. One such home, on Louis Street, is allegedly "haunted," according to local residents.
The Kubert School, formerly the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art and Joe Kubert School, is a private, for-profit technical school focused on cartooning and located in Dover, New Jersey. The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University is a law school located in Hempstead, New York on Long Island, affiliated with Hofstra University. Monmouth Academy was a university preparatory, nonsectarian, coeducational day school located in Howell Township, New Jersey, United States, serving students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Chatham Borough High School was a public high school that existed until 1988 in Chatham Borough, in Morris County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The school became defunct when the Borough and Chatham Township merged their independent school systems to create the School District of the Chathams. The current Chatham High School shared by both municipalities occupies the building that had been used by Chatham Township High School.
