Monsignor Farrell High School is an American Catholic high school for boys, located in the Oakwood section of Staten Island, New York.
Opened in 1961, the school is named in honor of Monsignor Joseph Farrell, a Catholic priest, as well as a religious, political and community leader on Staten Island.

Vito John Fossella Jr. is an American politician serving as the Staten Island Borough President since 2022. A member of the Republican Party, Fossella previously represented the state's 13th congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives for six terms, from 1997 to 2009 serving as the lone Republican from New York City. He held various positions in the Archdiocese of New York, and was instrumental in the construction of several new parishes in the New York City borough of Staten Island. He became a priest in 1900, and Staten Island's dean of clergy in 1933, and a monsignor in 1935. On Staten Island, he was an early principal of St. Peter's Boys High School.

William Warren Fenley was an American professional basketball player. He spent one season in the Basketball Association of America (BAA) as a member of the Boston Celtics in the 1946–1947 season. After his BAA career ended, he founded the school athletic program for his home parish of St. Rita's Church. Fenley became the first head coach for the Monsignor Farrell High School boys' basketball team in 1964, and the first for Moore Catholic High School in 1968.
