Razi School is an Islamic school in Woodside, New York. The school has partnered with NYC Department of Early Childhood Education in offering tuition-free full day Pre-Kindergarten classes for all 4-year-old children.

Abū Bakr al-Rāzī, c. 864 or 865–925 or 935 CE, often known as (al-)Razi or by his Latin name Rhazes, also rendered Rhasis, was a Persian physician, philosopher and alchemist who lived during the Islamic Golden Age. He is widely regarded as one of the most important figures in the history of medicine, and also wrote on logic, astronomy and grammar. He is also known for his criticism of religion, especially with regard to the concepts of prophethood and revelation. However, the religio-philosophical aspects of his thought, which also included a belief in five "eternal principles", are fragmentary and only reported by authors who were often hostile to him.
Fakhr al-Dīn al-Rāzī or Fakhruddin Razi, often known by the sobriquet Sultan of the Theologians, was an influential Iranian and Muslim polymath, scientist and one of the pioneers of inductive logic. He wrote various works in the fields of medicine, chemistry, physics, astronomy, cosmology, literature, theology, ontology, philosophy, history and jurisprudence. He was one of the earliest proponents and skeptics that came up with the concept of multiverse, and compared it with the astronomical teachings of Quran. A rejector of the geocentric model and the Aristotelian notions of a single universe revolving around a single world, al-Razi argued about the existence of the outer space beyond the known world.

The Al-Iman School is an Islamic school catering for Muslim students. The school, located in Jamaica, Queens, New York, USA, was established in September 1990. Its main benefactor was Grand Ayatollah Abul-Qassim Khoei. Within four years, the school became the first Pre-K through 12 Islamic school in North America. Due to demand, between 1990 and 1994 several grades were added. Al-Iman School is the first Islamic High School to be accepted in the Federal 'Reading First' Program.
The Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School for International Careers, located at 120 West 46th Street in the Times Square neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was established in the 1970s in Lower Manhattan as an all-girls annex to Murry Bergtraum High School. Its original goal was to offer young women a business education, then not readily available to female students; however, it is now co-ed. The school was renamed in honor of former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1995, a year after her death. It is a part of the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE).

William H. Maxwell Career and Technical High School is a vocational high school in Brooklyn, New York. It lies on Pennsylvania Avenue in the upper half of the East New York neighborhood, close to Liberty Avenue subway station on the C train. The building was built in 1912, but it was re-chartered as a high school in 1950. The school offers vocational training in a variety of subjects, including cosmetology, fashion, medical assisting and related visual instruction.
George W. Wingate High School is a defunct comprehensive high school in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens and Wingate neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York City. It opened in 1956 and was closed down in June 2006 due to poor academic performance. The school was then divided into four small schools. The school was named for George Wood Wingate, an officer in the Union Army during the American Civil War. Wingate was the founder of the Public School Athletic League in New York City.

A two-story rectory at 411-445 West 204th Street was built in 1957 to designs by architect P. Goodman.

Opportunity Charter School is an American charter school in the Harlem neighborhood of the New York City borough of Manhattan. It serves approximately 400 students in grades 6–12. It was chartered by the New York State Board of Regents in 2004. The charter school serves disabled and academically struggling students. A fight to renew its charter was won in 2011 with a two-year renewal granted and the school's website reported a five-year renewal in 2012.
Masjid Hamza is a mosque and Islamic community center located at 200 Stuart Avenue, Valley Stream, New York. It has a K–6 school system called "Hamza Academy", and has a mosque. The masjid is located fifteen minutes away from John F. Kennedy International Airport and serves about 1,400 families. The masjid offers use of the masjid for the five daily prayers, adult and children's Quran classes, and Taraweeh in the month of Ramadan. The masjid originally started as a 2 bedroom house, but as a result of the growing Muslim community in Valley Stream, expanded to a bigger building in 2007. In a 2015 annual fundraiser, the masjid announced plans for expansions, which they did by purchasing 3 adjacent properties.
