Miss Puerto Rico is a national title bestowed on the women representing Puerto Rico in the most prestigious and relevant international beauty pageants. Currently, Miss Universe Puerto Rico selects the representative for Miss Universe, Miss World Puerto Rico for Miss World, Miss Earth Puerto Rico for Miss Earth and Miss Global, Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico(Our Beauty Puerto Rico) for Miss International, Miss Supranational, and Miss Grand International. No pageant is held to select the representative for Miss Intercontinental, with the delegate usually being selected from the group of semifinalists in Miss World Puerto Rico. Since 2023, Puerto Rico is the only nation to have won all eight international beauty pageants. Not including Miss Intercontinental and Miss Global, Puerto Rico is also the only country to have won the other six pageants, which are known as the Grand Slam, as they are considered the most important. With 16 major titles won as of 2023, Puerto Rico is recognized as a powerhouse in the industry of beauty pageants, alongside Venezuela, Philippines, United States, and India.

The Miss Lebanon is the national Beauty pageant in Lebanon. The current Miss Lebanon is Yasmina Zaytoun who was crowned on 24 July 2022.

Miss Perú is the national beauty pageant of the republic of Peru. The contest gathers participants from all over the nation, including Peruvian women representing their community overseas. Having been broadcast by all the major television networks in the country during its history, the pageant is currently broadcast by América Televisión. It is preceded by two or three months of preliminary events, with the awarding of corporate prizes by sponsors.

The Miss Universe Canada or "The Beauties of Canada" is a national beauty pageant in Canada, which sends its winners to the Miss Universe pageant.

Miss Universe Barbados is the national beauty pageant for selecting a delegate to represent Barbados at the Miss Universe pageant. The current titleholder is Hillary-Ann Williams of Bridgetown.

The Miss Sweden or Miss Universe Sweden, is the title of the Swedish beauty pageant, qualifying delegates to the Miss Universe competition. In 2009 the pageant renamed as Miss Universe Sweden and the first national final was held on 6 June 2009, the National Day of Sweden. Among the judges were Yvonne Ryding, Miss Universe 1984. The pageant is a late branch of the Miss Sweden contest. The director of the contest is Joakim Granberg of the Starworld Entertainment Corporation.

Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 December 2016, at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her successor Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. It was the second time that the Miss World pageant held in the United States. It was the second time where Puerto Rico won Miss World, after Wilnelia Merced in 1975.

Gabriela Clesca Vallejo is a Haitian-Canadian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Haiti 2019. She represented Haiti at Miss Universe 2019.
