Mk Ibrahim bin Abd Rahman is a Malaysian politician who serves as Speaker of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly. [1] [2] He is the State Chairman of National Trust Party (AMANAH) of Negeri Sembilan since 2019. [3]
MK Ibrahim had once been appointed as PAS Negeri Sembilan Commissioner from 1999 to 2001. He was also a PAS candidate in the 1999 state election for the Ampangan seat. He then mobilized the Gerakan Harapan Baru (GHB) Negeri Sembilan, [4] before joining AMANAH and being appointed as Vice Chairman of AMANAH State. In 2019,he was elected as Chairman of AMANAH Negeri Sembilan. [3] He was appointed as a Seremban City Council Member for the 2020-2023 session. [5] He was appointed as the Speaker of the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly on 26 September 2023. [1]

The Grand Ruler of Negeri Sembilan is elected by a council of ruling chiefs in the state,or the Undangs. This royal practice has been followed since 1773. The Yamtuan Besar is elected from among the four leading princes of Negeri Sembilan;the Undangs themselves cannot stand for election and their choice of a ruler is limited to a male Muslim who is Malay and also a "lawfully begotten descendant of Raja Radin ibni Raja Lenggang",the 4th Yamtuan.

Wan Saifulruddin bin Wan Jan,better known as Wan Saiful Wan Jan,is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tasek Gelugor since November 2022. He was a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a component party of the formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and Barisan Alternatif (BA) coalitions. He died on 21 October 2023,at the age of 59.
