Mopidevi Venkataramana Rao (born 1962,Nizampatam) is an Indian politician,who is currently serving as the Member of Parliament,Rajya Sabha from YSR Congress Party representing Andhra Pradesh. He was the former cabinet minister under Kiran Kumar Reddy. He also served as Ports,infrastructure and investments minister under Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. He was elected in 1999 and 2004 from Kuchinapudi Assembly. In 2009,He was again elected from Repalle. He elected to Rajya Sabha,Upper House of the Parliament of India from Andhra Pradesh in the 2020 Rajyasabha elections as a member of the YSR Congress Party. [1] [2]
