Moravany (Hungarian : Morva) is a village and large municipality in Michalovce District in the Kosice Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1247.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 110 metres (360 ft) ^[2] and covers an area of 16.67 km² (6.44 sq mi) (2024). ^[4]
