Prince MoulayIdriss El Alaoui (born c. 1963) is an Alaouite dynasty prince. In addition to being an ex special advisor to king Mohammed VI, he is a businessman. [1] [2] He lives in Meknes, Morocco.
He is the son of Prince Moulay Hassan ben Driss and his wife Princess Lalla Amina bint Moulay Yusef. He has a son named Moulay Youssef El Alaoui. [1]
Most of his business activities are in real-estate and agriculture.
Entered the Moroccan Diplomatic Service and served as Counsellor without moving anytime his country.[ clarification needed ] He is also a Special Adviser to King Mohammed VI. His wealth is estimated at $2.3 billion.This is controversial within the country due to a lack of information and publications on the subject.[ citation needed ]
MoulayYusef ben Hassan, born in Meknes on 1882 and died in Fes in 1927, was the 'Alawi sultan of Morocco from 1912 to 1927. He was the son of Hassan I of Morocco, who was the son of Muhammad IV of Morocco.
