Muritaia longispinata is a species of Amaurobiidae spider that is endemic to New Zealand. [1]
This species was described in 1973 by Ray Forster and Cecil Wilton from a female specimen. [1] The holotype is stored in Auckland War Memorial Museum under registration number AMNZ5061. [2]
The female is recorded at 2.80mm in length. [1]
This species is only known from Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. [1]
