The Musa Awards (Spanish: Premios Musa) are presented by Ibero Americana Radio Chile, a subsidiary of the Spanish group PRISA, to recognize "the best musical releases" in the Chilean music industry. [1]
The Musa Awards originated from an innitiative led by Ibero Americana Radio Chile and its ten national radio stations. The recognitions were established to honor the "best of Chilean and international music within the year." [1] [2]
The award statuette was designed by Chilean artist Norton Maza, drawing inspiration from the muses of ancient Greek culture. [3]
The first edition took place in 2020, hosted by comedian Felipe Avello and journalist Matilda Svensson. [4]
As of 2024, the Musa Awards feature fourteen categories, along with a special Lifetime Achievement Award. The categories are:

Francisca Valenzuela is an American-born Chilean singer, poet, and multi-instrumentalist. Valenzuela was born and raised in San Francisco, California, where she resided until the age of 12, before moving to Santiago, Chile. She gained popularity in Chile and Latin America following the release of her debut album, Muérdete La Lengua, in June 2007. Her second album, Buen Soldado, followed in March 2011. Valenzuela has earned both gold and platinum album certifications in Chile. Her third studio album, Tajo Abierto was released in 2014 under her own independent record label Frantastic Records, and earned her first Latin Grammy Award nomination. Valenzuela released her fourth studio album, La Fortaleza, in 2020, and her fifth studio album, Vida tan Bonita in 2022, both records under Sony Music Chile.

Adentro (Inside) is the sixth studio album by Chilean-American singer-songwriter Francisca Valenzuela. It was released on August 18, 2023 under Valenzuela's own independent record label, Frantastic Records. The album consists of eleven tracks, including the singles "¿Dónde Se Llora Cuando Se Llora?" and "Déjalo Ir". Adentro was met with critical acclaim upon its release, earning nominations for Album of the Year at the Premios MUSA and the Pulsar Awards. As well, a Latin Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop/Rock Album.
