The song is a ballad, with Grace telling her lover that they are "driftin' far apart" and thus that their relationship is coming to an end. She explains, however, that she does not view this as a sad event, but rather an opportunity to follow her "impossible dream" and establish her own identity in the world.
As the Netherlands had not finished the 2004 contest in the top 10, the song was performed in the semi-final. Here, it was performed ninth, following Belarus' Angelica Agurbash with "Love Me Tonight" and preceding Iceland's Selma with "If I Had Your Love". The song was intended to represent Greece in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 before the event's cancellation due to the pandemic of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and its spread throughout the world. Stefania had been internally selected as the country's representative by Greek public broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT).
