Nakhon Sawan province Province of Thailand

Nakhon Sawan is one of Thailand's seventy-six provinces (changwat) lies in lower northern Thailand. Neighbouring provinces are Kamphaeng Phet, Phichit, Phetchabun, Lopburi, Sing Buri, Chai Nat, Uthai Thani, and Tak.

Thai Airways Company or Thai Airways was the domestic flag carrier of Thailand. Monthon

Monthon were administrative subdivisions of Thailand at the beginning of the 20th century. The Thai word monthon is a translation of the word mandala, in its sense of a type of political formation. The monthon were created as a part of the Thesaphiban bureaucratic administrative system, introduced by Prince Damrong Rajanubhab which, together with the monthon, established step-by-step today's present provinces (changwat), districts (amphoe), and communes (tambon) throughout Thailand. Each monthon was led by a royal commissioner called Thesaphiban (เทศาภิบาล), later renamed to Samuhathesaphiban (สมุหเทศาภิบาล). The system was officially adopted by the 1897 Local Administration Act, after some monthon had been established and administrative details were sorted out.

Nakhon Sawan railway station is a railway station in Nong Pling Sub-district, Nakhon Sawan City, Nakhon Sawan. It is a Class 1 station and the main station in Nakhon Sawan Province. It is about 245 kilometres from Bangkok railway station. The railyard serves as a PTT Petroleum tanker car yard with a spur line to a gas refinery.

Nakhon Sawan is a city in Thailand, the name literally means "Heavenly City". The city is the capital of Nakhon Sawan Province, and covers the complete subdistrict (tambon) Pak Nam Pho and parts of Khwae Yai, Nakhon Sawan Tok, Nakhon Sawan Ok and Wat Sai, all of Mueang Nakhon Sawan district. The games were held in Nakhon Sawan Sport Center and Nakhon Sawan sport school. Nakhon Sawan also hosted the 28th national games in 1995.

Sawanpracharak Hospital is the main hospital of Nakhon Sawan Province, Thailand and is classified under the Ministry of Public Health as a regional hospital. It has a CPIRD Medical Education Center which trains doctors for the MOPH-Mahidol CPIRD Program. It is an affiliated teaching hospital of the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.

Sawan is a fifth month in the Hindu calendar.
