Johannes Nambala is scheduled to represent Namibia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics. He qualified to compete in the men's 100m T13 event after winning the bronze medal in the men's 100 metres T13 event at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. [1]
He also qualified for the men's 400m T13 event after winning the gold medal in the men's 400 metres T13 event at the 2019 World Championships. [2]

Evan George O'Hanlon, is an Australian Paralympic athlete, who competes mainly in category T38 sprint events. He has won five gold medals at two Paralympic Games – 2008 Beijing and 2012 London. He also represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, winning a silver medal and a bronze medal respectively. In winning the bronze medal in the Men's 100m T38 at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai, O'Hanlon became Australia's most successful male athlete with a disability. His bronze medal took him to 12 medals in five world championships – one more than four-time Paralympian Neil Fuller.
El Salvador first competed in the Paralympic Games at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney, Australia. It has participated in the Summer Paralympic Games every four years since that time. El Salvador has never taken part in the Winter Paralympics, and until Tokyo 2020, no Salvadorian had won a Paralympic medal. In 2021, Herbert Aceituno became the first athlete to win a medal, earning bronze in powerlifting at the 59 kg category.
Marcel Eric Hug is a Paralympian athlete from Switzerland competing in category T54 wheelchair racing events. Hug, nicknamed 'The Silver Bullet', has competed in four Summer Paralympic Games for Switzerland, winning two bronze medals in his first Games in Athens in 2004. In 2010 he set four world records in four days, and at the 2011 World Championships he won a gold in the 10,000 metres and four silver medals, losing the gold in three events to long term rival David Weir. This rivalry continued into the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, where Hug won two silvers, in the 800m and the marathon. In the 2013 World Championships Hug dominated the field, winning five golds and a silver. During the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio, Hug was one of the most consistent competitors in the T54 class, winning two golds, in the 800 m and marathon, and two silvers medals, in the 1500m and 5000m.
Rheed McCracken is an Australian Paralympic athletics competitor. At the 2012 Summer Paralympics, he won a silver and bronze medal in T34 athletics events. His success led him to be named the 2012 Junior Athlete of the Year as part of the Australian Paralympian of the Year Awards. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics where he repeated his medal success at the London Paralympics.
Alexander Zverev is a Paralympian athlete from Russia competing mainly in category T13 sprint events. Zverev has competed at two Summer Paralympic Games, 2008 in Beijing and 2012 at London. At the 2012 Games he won silver in the 400m sprint.
Ndodomzi Jonathan Ntutu is a visually impaired South African sprinter. Ndodomzi Jonathan Ntutu is currently South Africa's fastest ever para-athlete. His 10.80 was posted on April 12th 2018 during the heats of the Commonwealth Games. Competing in the T12 classification, Ntutu has competed at three Summer Paralympic Games, winning bronze in the 2012 Games in London. He is also a multiple World Championships winner, taking five medals over four tournaments.
Johannes Nambala is a Paralympian athlete from Namibia competing mainly in category T13 sprint events. In 2013 he became the first Namibian to win a gold medal at an IPC Athletics World Championships, when he won the 400m sprint in Lyon. As well as World Championship success Nambala has also won two silver Paralympic medals, both silver, and both won at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Great Britain is currently competing in the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan. Originally scheduled to take place between 21 August and 6 September 2020, the Games were postponed to 24 August to 5 September 2021 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. British athletes have competed at sixteen consecutive Summer Paralympics since 1960.
Thailand is competing at the 2020 Summer Paralympics from 24 August to 5 September 2021. This is the country's tenth appearance at the Paralympic Games.

She qualified to compete in this event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan after winning the silver medal at the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Ntando Mahlangu is a South African Paralympic athlete. He won the gold medal in the men's long jump T63 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan and the silver medal in the men's 200 metres T42 event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is also a two-time medalist at the World Para Athletics Championships.
Doniyor Saliev is a visually impaired Uzbekistani Paralympic athlete competing in T12-classification events. He represented Uzbekistan at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, United Kingdom and at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He won the bronze medal in the men's long jump T12 event and the bronze medal in the men's 4 × 100 metres relay T11-13 event at the 2016 Summer Paralympics. He was also the flag bearer in the opening ceremony of the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

Mahdi Afri is a visually impaired Moroccan Paralympic athlete competing in T12-classification sprinting events. He represented Morocco at the 2016 Summer Paralympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and he won two medals: the silver medal in the men's 400 metres T12 event and the bronze medal in the men's 200 metres T12 event.
Fábio da Silva Bordignon is a Brazilian Paralympic athlete competing in T35-classification events. In 2019, he qualified to represent Brazil at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan.
Salum Ageze Kashafali is a visually impaired Norwegian Paralympic athlete. He won the gold medal in the men's 100 metres T12 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. He also set a new world record of 10.43 seconds.

Nathan Maguire is a British wheelchair racer. He won multiple medals at both the 2018 and 2021 World Para Athletics European Championships, and also won the 2021 British Athletics Championships 400 metres mixed class race. Maguire competed in the 4 × 400 metres relay T53/T54 at the 2016 Summer Paralympics, and is competing in the 400 metres T54, 800 metres T54 and mixed 4 × 100 metres relay events at the delayed 2020 Summer Paralympics. He also competed for England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
