Natronincola is a genus of bacteria from the family Natronincolaceae. [1] [2] [3] Natronincola comes from two parts. "Natron" is from the Arabic natrun, meaning sodium carbonate or soda, and "incola" is Latin for "inhabitant" or "dweller." [1]
