The Nebraska Stampede is a team of the Independent Women's Football League that began play in the 2010 season. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, the Stampede plays its home games at Rams Field on the campus of Ralston High School in nearby Ralston.
The Stampede, along with the River City Raiders of the Women's Spring Football League, are the first women's football teams based in the Cornhusker State.
The team was featured on KPTM in 2009 to promote team tryouts. [1] The Stampede also promoted themselves on WOWT-TV in 2010. [2]

BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium located at the north side of False Creek, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is owned and operated by the BC Pavilion Corporation (PavCo), a crown corporation of the province. It is currently the home of the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), Vancouver Whitecaps FC of Major League Soccer (MLS) and the annual Canada Sevens as well as the BC Sports Hall of Fame. The stadium also served as the main stadium for the 2010 Winter Olympics and 2010 Paralympics which Vancouver hosted, the 2012 CONCACAF Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament, as well as a venue for multiple matches including the championship match for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Point Loma High School is a public high school in the San Diego Unified School District in San Diego, California, United States. It is located in the Loma Portal neighborhood of Point Loma. The San Angelo Stampede Express was a professional indoor football team from San Angelo, Texas owned by Darlene Jones. They were announced as a charter member of the Lone Star Football League but folded before play began in 2012. They played their home games in the Foster Communications Coliseum. They changed their name from the San Angelo Stampede for the 2006 season.
Texas Roller Derby (TXRD), formerly known as Texas Lonestar Rollergirls, is an banked-track roller derby league based in Austin, Texas. Founded in 2001, TXRD is one of several leagues considered responsible for the modern roller derby revival. It is skater owned and operated. In 2006, the skaters of TXRD were featured in a 13-episode television series on A&E titled Rollergirls, which contributed to the renewed international popularity of women's roller derby.
The Big 33 Football Classic is an all-star American football game featuring the top high-school football players in Pennsylvania. Played since 1957, the game is often described as the "Super Bowl of High School Football." Contests currently pit players from Pennsylvania against players from Maryland, but opponents in the past have also included players from Ohio and Texas. Sandro DeAngelis is a former professional gridiron football placekicker. He last played during the 2013 season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He had also played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Montreal Alouettes, Calgary Stampeders and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. DeAngelis is among the most accurate kickers in CFL history and he won his first Grey Cup championship with the Calgary Stampeders in 2008.

The Harrisburg Stampede were a professional indoor football team based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. In 2009 he was played for Provincial Electricity Authority in the Thailand Premier League, the top division of the Thailand football League.
