Neptunitalea is a genus of bacteria from the family of Flavobacteriaceae with one known species ( Neptunitalea chrysea ). [1] [2] [3]
Acidobacteriota is a phylum of Gram-negative bacteria. Its members are physiologically diverse and ubiquitous, especially in soils, but are under-represented in culture.
The surilis are a group of Old World monkeys in the genus Presbytis. They live in the Thai-Malay Peninsula, on Sumatra, Borneo, Java and smaller nearby islands. Besides surili, the common names for the monkeys in the genus also sometimes use the terms "langur" or "leaf monkey."
The Burkholderiaceae are a family of bacteria included in the order Burkholderiales. It includes some pathogenic species, such as Burkholderia mallei (glanders) and Burkholderia pseudomallei (melioidosis).
The chicken turtle is an uncommon freshwater turtle found in the southeast of the United States. It is in the monotypic genus Deirochelys.
Rita is a genus of fish in the family Bagridae found in South Asia. These species have a single pair of mandibular barbels, an elongated Weberian apparatus firmly sutured to the basioccipital and the sensory canal on the posttemporal enclosed with bone.
Cronobacter is a genus of Gram-negative, facultatively anaerobic, oxidase-negative, catalase-positive, rod-shaped bacteria of the family Enterobacteriaceae. They are generally motile, reduce nitrate, use citrate, hydrolyze esculin and arginine, and are positive for L-ornithine decarboxylation. Acid is produced from D-glucose, D-sucrose, D-raffinose, D-melibiose, D-cellobiose, D-mannitol, D-mannose, L-rhamnose, L-arabinose, D-trehalose, galacturonate and D-maltose. Cronobacter spp. are also generally positive for acetoin production and negative for the methyl red test, indicating 2,3-butanediol rather than mixed acid fermentation. The type species of the genus Cronobacter is Cronobacter sakazakii comb. nov.
The Chloroflexota are a phylum of bacteria containing isolates with a diversity of phenotypes, including members that are aerobic thermophiles, which use oxygen and grow well in high temperatures; anoxygenic phototrophs, which use light for photosynthesis ; and anaerobic halorespirers, which uses halogenated organics as electron acceptors.
Pitekunsaurus is a genus of titanosaurian sauropod dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous Anacleto Formation of Neuquén, Argentina. It was described by L. Filippi and A. Garrido in 2008. The type species is P. macayai. The generic name is derived from Mapudungun pitekun, meaning "to discover", the epitheton honours the discoverer, oil company explorer Luis Macaya, who found the fossil in April 2004.
Perissoneura is a genus of caddisflies in the family Odontoceridae.
Perissoneura chrysea is a species of caddisfly in the genus Perissoneura of the family Odontoceridae.
Clathrina chrysea is a species of calcareous sponge from New Caledonia. The species epithet refers to the light yellow colour of the sponge.
The Haemoproteidae are a family of parasitic alveolates in the phylum Apicomplexa.
Armatimonadota is a phylum of gram-negative bacteria.
Dickeya is a genus of the family Pectobacteriaceae that consists mainly of pathogens from herbaceous plants. Dickeya is the result of the reclassification of 75 strains of Pectobacterium chrysanthemi, as well as Brenneria paradisiaca CFBP 4178, into a new genus. The genus is named for American phytopathologist Robert S. Dickey. Several species in this genus, such as Dickeya dadantii, are known phytopathogens.
Lecanogaster chrysea is a species of clingfish only known from the Atlantic Ocean off of Ghana. This species grows to a length of 2.1 centimetres (0.83 in) SL. This species is the only known member of its genus.
Lecanogaster is a genus of clingfishes from the family Gobiesocidae. They are found in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of west Africa. The genus was designated as a monotypic genus in 1957 by John C. Briggs but in 2017 a second species was assigned to the genus.
The Ganymedidae are a family of parasites in the phylum Apicomplexa.
Lymphotropha is a genus of parasitic alveolates in the phylum Apicomplexa.
Coprothermobacterota is a newly proposed phylum of nonmotile, rod-shaped bacteria.
Hsenhsua is a genus of flowering plant in the family Orchidaceae. Its only species is Hsenhsua chrysea, native to Bhutan to South Central China. It is placed in the tribe Orchideae.
