New Order are an English rock band formed in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook and drummer Stephen Morris. The band formed after the demise of Joy Division, following the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. They were joined by Gillian Gilbert on keyboards later that year. New Order's integration of post-punk with electronic and dance music made them one of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s. They were the flagship band for Manchester-based independent record label Factory Records and its nightclub The Haçienda, and they worked in long-term collaboration with graphic designer Peter Saville.
Ducks Deluxe are an English pub rock band of the 1970s, who continue to tour and record new material. Usually called "The Ducks" by their fans, they were known for up-tempo, energetic performances, and the successful careers of their members, after they disbanded.
Bernard Sumner is an English singer, musician, songwriter, and record producer. He is a founding member of the bands Joy Division, New Order, and Electronic. Sumner was an early force in several areas, including the post-punk, synthpop, and techno music scenes, as well as their various related genres, and was an early influence on the Manchester music scene that presaged the "Madchester" movement of the late 1980s centered on Factory Records and The Haçienda club in Manchester.
The Box Tops is an American rock band formed in Memphis in 1967. They are best known for the hits "The Letter", "Cry Like a Baby", and "Soul Deep" and are considered a major blue-eyed soul group of the period. They performed a mixture of current soul music songs by artists such as James & Bobby Purify and Clifford Curry; pop tunes such as "A Whiter Shade of Pale" by Procol Harum; and songs written by their producers, Dan Penn, Spooner Oldham, and Chips Moman. Vocalist Alex Chilton went on to front the power pop band Big Star and to launch a career as a solo artist, during which he occasionally performed songs he had sung with the Box Tops.

Good Humor is the fourth studio album by English alternative dance band Saint Etienne. It was released on 4 May 1998 by Creation Records. The American spelling of humor is used in the title as the band were, according to Sarah Cracknell, "fed up with the 'quintessentially English' tag, so there was a bit of a backlash against that."

Church of Hawkwind is the twelfth studio album by Hawkwind, released under the band name Church of Hawkwind in 1982. The name change reflects the fact that this was a musical departure for the band, being a more experimental electronic offering rather than the usual heavy rock that the band were known for at the time.

Träd, Gräs & Stenar is a Swedish rock band formed in 1969, from previous incarnations Pärson Sound, International Harvester and Harvester. The group was one of the front acts of the Swedish progg scene, although noticeably less political than their contemporary counterparts. Their sound has been described as raw, psych rock jam, by the writer David Pescovitz, who also notes the band would invite their audiences to improvise and collaborate.
BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert is a live album by the English band New Order. The album is an edited recording of the band's headline performance at Glastonbury CND Festival '87. It was first released as a live album in 1992. The live album charted at number thirty-three on the UK Albums Chart and was certified as Silver by the BPI. The live album received mixed reviews and was first released as a LP, CD and Cassette in February 1992. The live album was released in June 2000 with new artwork by The Peter Saville Studio with photography by Jon Wozencroft. The original sleeve was designed by Mental Block.
Get Lucky is the sixth solo studio album by British singer-songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler, released on 14 September 2009 in Europe by Mercury Records, and on 15 September in the United States by Reprise Records. The album was released in four formats, including CD, a Limited Edition CD/DVD Digipak, a Deluxe Edition Boxset, and a double vinyl album. Get Lucky received generally favorable reviews, and reached the top three positions on album charts in Denmark, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and Poland. The album peaked at number nine in the United Kingdom, and number 17 in the United States.
Dethalbum II is the second full length album by virtual band Dethklok, from the animated series Metalocalypse. The CD and deluxe CD/DVD were released on September 29, 2009. The album was later released on LP to the United States and Canada.
Bad Lieutenant was an English alternative rock band formed following the second breakup of New Order. The band consisted of former New Order members Bernard Sumner and Phil Cunningham as well as Rambo & Leroy's Jake Evans.
"Sink or Swim" was the debut release and first single by Bad Lieutenant. It appears as the first track on their debut album Never Cry Another Tear. It was released on 28 September 2009. The single was backed with the fellow album track "Dynamo". The single did not chart in the UK, though sales were likely impacted as both songs had already been released for free through the band's websites prior to the official release that September. In February 2010, to accompany the band's first UK tour, a digital remix bundle was released with remixes by Mark Reeder, James Bright and The Teenagers.
Lifelines is the second studio album by Andrea Corr. It was released on 29 May 2011 as a digital download and 30 May 2011 on CD. The album consists of covers of songs by The Velvet Underground, Kirsty MacColl, Harry Nilsson, Ron Sexsmith, Nick Drake, The Blue Nile and others. The lead single, "Tinseltown in the Rain", was released to the iTunes Store on 17 April 2011. As well as standard CD and digital download releases, the album was released as a special limited edition with a bonus DVD containing exclusive performances and interviews. To promote the album, Corr has performed songs from it at shows in London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Salford and at the Isle of Wight Festival 2011. She has also promoted it in media interviews and in performances around Europe.
Privateering is the seventh solo studio album by British singer-songwriter and guitarist Mark Knopfler, released on 3 September 2012 by Mercury Records. The first studio double-album of Knopfler's 35-year career as a recording artist, Privateering consists of 20 original songs, and integrates blues rock with traditional folk and country genres. Recorded between March and December 2011, the album received generally positive reviews throughout Europe, and reached the number one position on album charts in Austria, Germany, Norway and the Netherlands, as well as the number two or three position in Belgium, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. The album peaked at number eight in the United Kingdom. The album was released in North America a full year after its European release due to a contractual dispute between Knopfler and his North American distributors.

Thomas Louis Chapman is a Franco British musician, producer and songwriter, best known as being the bass guitarist of English rock band New Order. He is also one of the founding members of Anglo-American group ShadowParty and, more recently in 2020, Sea Fever.
Barn Jams are a series of instrumental pieces written by Pink Floyd guitarist, David Gilmour and performed by him and the core members of his 2006 On an Island Tour band, Guy Pratt on bass, Richard Wright on keyboards and Steve DiStanislao on drums. The sessions were recorded and filmed in a barn at David's home in Sussex, England, in January 2007. It is unknown how many pieces exist, although Gilmour himself, in a bonus interview within the second DVD of his 2008 release Live in Gdańsk, claims that he and guitarist Phil Manzanera recorded and catalogued "close to 200" jams. Three tracks were released as part of the Live in Gdańsk 4-disc edition, deluxe edition and vinyl edition; one was released on Remember That Night (2007) and four more were released on the deluxe edition of Gilmour's 2015 Rattle That Lock album. The Barn Jams are the last released recordings made by Richard Wright before his death in 2008.
