Niko Hurme (born 10 November 1974, Karkkila), whose stage name is Nick Gore is a Finnish bass guitarist in the glam metal band Stala & so. He was the bass player for the Finnish hard rock band Lordi between 2002 and 2005, with his stage name Kalma(Finnish, poetic version of word death). He played on the albums The Monsterican Dream and The Arockalypse but was replaced by former bassist OX after his departure from the band for personal reasons. Kalma is known as a so-called "motorbike zombie".
Kalma has writing credits for only one Lordi song: 'Kalmageddon', which he co-wrote with Mr Lordi. The song is the final track on The Monsterican Dream.
Kalma played all bass guitars and performed some backing vocals on The Arockalypse but was not featured on the cover of the album since he left the band before its release. His replacement, OX, is instead featured. Inversely, Kalma appears on the cover of Lordi's debut album, Get Heavy , even though he did not play a note on the record, where all bass was recorded by his predecessor, Magnum.[ citation needed ]
Before the release of Lordi's fourth studio album Deadache, Kalma was the only bass player to be featured on a Lordi album that he had played on, now OX has done the same with the fourth album. Kalma has played some role in the first three albums of Lordi. Since Kalma left the band he has made two surprise guest appearances by joining the current line-up of Lordi on stage playing rhythm guitar at Nosturi and The Forum in 2006 during the last few encores. He later teamed with former Lordi drummer, Sampsa Astala, to form the band Stala & So, they competed to represent Finland in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. [1]

As is traditional for the band, their costumes were renewed for the release of this album. The album was produced by Michael Wagener. It was the final album to feature both Kita and Awa before their departure from the band.
Scarchives Vol. 1 is a CD and DVD digipak compilation from the Finnish band Lordi, released on 3 September 2012. It contains rare archive materials from Lordi, and was released to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the band. The CD contains a previously unreleased studio album recorded in 1997, Bend Over and Pray the Lord. The original version of the song, "Get Heavy", and a previously unreleased song entitled "Hulking Dynamo" are included as a bonus track. The DVD includes a gallery of unreleased merchandise from 2002; as well as the full video from Lordi's first concert, which has an audio commentary by Mr. Lordi. The DVD was edited by Lordi's former drummer, Tonmi "Otus" Lillman.
To Beast or Not to Beast is the sixth studio album of Finnish hard rock band Lordi, released on 1 March 2013. As is traditional for the band, their costumes were renewed again for the release of this album. The album was produced and mixed by Michael Wagener and engineered by Shani Gandhi. It is the first album to feature members Mana and Hella. It also marks the first and only appearance of former drummer Otus, who died in 2012.
Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät were a Finnish punk rock band, formed in 2009 in a charity workshop for adults with developmental disabilities. They are the main focus of the 2012 Finnish documentary film The Punk Syndrome. In 2015, they qualified for the finals of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu, which they later won; they represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 but got knocked out in the semi-final. The group disbanded in December 2016 when guitarist Pertti Kurikka turned 60 years old and retired from playing punk rock.
Sexorcism is the ninth studio album by the Finnish hard rock band Lordi. It was released on 25 May 2018 via AFM Records. The album has been described as possibly their most controversial record to date, and a 'full-on and uncensored shot of Lordi brand hard rock and roll'.
