Nimay Ndolo (born 21 August 1994) is an American writer, actress and online personality. She was named one of Rolling Stone Top influencers for 2024 and one of Webby Awards and Time Magazine Top influencers for 2025. [2] [3] [4]
Ndolo was born in the Powder Springs, Georgia to parents of Nigerian Igbo descent. She began writing at the age of 13. [5] She studied theatre and film at Georgia State University. [6]
Ndolo began her career in theatre and film before working in delivery and sales jobs, later teaching herself web development and becoming a front end developer for a startup company. [7] [8]
In 2021, she began posting on social media and built a following on social media by combining humorous commentary with insights from her experience in the cryptocurrency [9] and technology industry. [10] [11] She broadened her content beyond tech and finance to coverage and commentary on politics, entertainment and general public issues. [2] She gained millions of followers for the commentary in the process. [12] Amongst her viral contents is her video comparing Matthew Livelsberger of the 2025 Las Vegas Cybertruck explosion to alleged shooter, Luigi Mangione. She expanded her content to also coverage into political commentary, and she has featured American senators Cory Booker, Ed Markey and politician Zohran Mamdani, among others, on her show.
