Nithin Lukose (4 May 1987) born in Wayanad is an Indian film director, writer and sound designer known for his works in Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu films. Nithin Lukose is a graduate at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune He has been a part of many films. PAKA (River of Blood) is his debut feature film as director. [1] [2] [3] [4] The film was premiered at Toronto international Film festival (TIFF). As a sound designer of Thithi, won Golden Leopard - Filmmakers of the Present, Recently completed Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar with director Dibakar Banerjee as the sound designer. Production sound mixer for Hollywood directors like Bennet Miller and Julie Taymor when they shot their documentary and film in India. [5]

Rajesh Touchriver is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and produce known for his works in English, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi language films. He received various National and International honors for his works. In 2002 he directed In the Name of Buddha which was later screened in the Spotlight on India section at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival. Oraalppokkam is a 2014 Malayalam film written and directed by Sanalkumar Sasidharan. It is the first Malayalam movie that has been produced through online crowdfunding. This is an initiative of Kazhcha Chalachithra Vedi, a film society movement based in Thiruvananthapuram. Kazhcha has a history of producing short movies with the financial contribution from film lovers. Oraalppokkam is the fourth venture of Kazhcha. It is claimed that Oraalppokkam will be copyleft after five years from the date of release.

Thithi (Funeral) is a 2015 Indian Kannada drama film co-written and directed by Raam Reddy. Consisting of a cast of non-professional actors from villages in the Mandya district of Karnataka, the film is a (semi-) light-hearted story about three generations of men reacting to the death of their 101-year old patriarch. It is an Indian-American co-production, jointly produced by Pratap Reddy from Prspctvs Productions and Sunmin Park from Maxmedia.
The Red Sea International Film Festival is a film festival launched in 2019 and held in Jeddah, western Saudi Arabia. The festival mainly focuses on new storytelling trends, as well as emerging talents from Saudi Arabia, the Arab world and the rest of the Global South. The festival looks at establishing a solid foundation for the film industry in Saudi Arabia that may contribute to diversifying the income of the country. The first edition of the festival was held in the old town of Jeddah from the 6 December to 15 December 2021. The second edition of the festival was held between the 1st and the 10th of Dec 2022, and featured the best films from Saudi Arabia, the region and a curated selection of titles from around the world.

The 51st International Film Festival of India was held from 16 to 24 January 2021 in Goa. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the festival went hybrid, there was physical and virtual screening of 50 films out of 224 films across various categories. Bangladesh was country of focus in the festival with four films of the country included in 'country of focus' section.

Baakki Vannavar was also selected for the Indian Film festival of Melbourne. The film is backed by Filmmaker Rajeev Ravi, backed by his Collective Phase One team members.
