Japanese girl group NiziU has released two studio albums, two extended plays, one single album, and nineteen singles. As of December 2024, the group had sold approximately 3.3 million album and single copies in Japan.

Contents

Prior to their debut, the group released the digital extended play Make You Happy in June 2020. They made their official debut in November 2020, with the maxi single "Step and a Step". The single debuted on the top of the Oricon Singles Chart and Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart, and received a platinum certification for physical sales and gold certification for digital sales, with approximately 500,000 copies sold in total. Additionally, it also received a platinum certification for streaming.

The group's debut studio album, U , topped both the Oricon Albums Chart and the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart, and received a platinum certification for physical sales, with approximately 250,000 copies sold.

"Clear" is a song recorded by Japanese singer Maaya Sakamoto. It was released as a single on January 31, 2018, through FlyingDog. It was written by Sakamoto and composed by Yoshiki Mizuno of the band Ikimono-gakari. "Clear" is the opening theme to the NHK anime Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, the sequel to Cardcaptor Sakura, for which Sakamoto's "Platinum" served as opening theme for the third season close to twenty years prior. An acoustic take of "Platinum" performed on June 4, 2017 at the Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima is included as a coupling track on the single.

Album releases include the studio albums Tōmei na Iro, Sorezore no Isu, Umarete kara Hajimete Mita Yume, and Ima ga Omoide ni Naru made. The group also released a compilation of "under" songs, written for members who perform at concerts but are not part of the main selection group for promoting singles, with the title Boku dake no Kimi: Under Super Best. Japanese boy band JO1 has released three studio albums, one live album, two video album, nine singles, thirty seven promotional singles, and eighteen music videos with Lapone Entertainment. Formed through the reality competition show Produce 101 Japan, JO1 debuted in 2020 with the single Protostar and the Japan Hot 100 number-one song "Infinity". The single made the group the seventh Japanese artist to sell over 300,000 copies of a debut single in the first week. It was followed by the single Stranger and its lead track "Oh-Eh-Oh", both of which peaked atop the Oricon Singles Chart and the Japan Hot 100, respectively. The group's first studio album, The Star (2020), debuted at number two on the Japan Hot Albums chart.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hoshimachi Suisei</span> Japanese virtual YouTuber and singer

Hoshimachi Suisei (星街すいせい) is a Japanese singer and virtual YouTuber. She began posting videos as an independent creator in March 2018. In May 2019, she became affiliated with Hololive Production through their newly created music label, INoNaKa Music, before joining the agency's main branch later the same year. Her YouTube activity consists primarily of live streaming herself singing karaoke, playing video games, talking to her fans, or collaborating with other talents. She is particularly well known among fans for her skill at Tetris and her singing ability. As of March 2024, she has 2.11 million subscribers and 731 million views on YouTube.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Tomorrow X Together discography</span>

South Korean boy band Tomorrow X Together, also known as TXT, has released five studio albums, one reissue, six extended plays, 30 singles—including seven soundtrack appearances—and 38 music videos.
