Midnight Boom is the third album by indie rock band The Kills, released on March 10, 2008, through Domino Records. It was recorded at the Key Club Recording Company in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The title refers to the hours from midnight to 6 a.m., in which the band was at the creative peak, writing material for the album.
The Kills are an Anglo-American indie rock band formed by American vocalist Alison Mosshart and British guitarist Jamie Hince. Since 2002, The Kills have released five studio albums, four extended plays, nineteen singles, sixteen music videos, a documentary, and have contributed original material to two compilations.
