Datuk Noor Ehsanuddin bin Mohd Harun Narrashid is a controversial Malaysian politician and businessman. He was the Member of Parliament of Kota Tinggi for one term from 2013 to 2018. He was also the Communication Director for Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA) under the Prime Minister's Department, [1] former Director of Felda Investment Corporation (FIC) [2] and formerly a board member of Felda Global Ventures Holdings (FGV). [3] He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party in Malaysia's former ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition.
Noor Ehsanuddin is married and has four children.
Noor Ehsanuddin received his primary education in Sekolah Rendah Inggeris Jalan Mersing –Kluang (1970–1974) and his secondary education in Masjid Tanah English School (1974–1975). He later was accepted to a boarding school MARA Junior Science College in Seremban,Negeri Sembilan,Malaysia. After the completion of his Malaysian Certificate of Education,he went to the United States of America to study in Southern Illinois University,Carbondale,USA (Civil Engineering And Mechanics). [4]
Noor Ehsanuddin is an active member of social groups,community and association. In the 80's during his stay in America he was the chairman for the education bureau of UMNO Carbondale Club. [5] [6] Now,he also leads many association such as Pertubuhan Penggiat Kompang FELDA Kebangsaan,Konvensyen Gabungan Pemikir Professional FELDA (GAPROF) 2011 dan Karnival IKTIRAF (Ikatan Hati Warga FELDA) 2011/2012.
Noor Ehsanuddin was chosen by UMNO as the Barisan Nasional candidate for the parliamentary seat of Kota Tinggi,Johor in the 2013 general elections. [7] He was elected as a Member of Parliament for one term from 2013 to 2018. He was dropped and did not seek reelection for his parliamentary seat in the 2018 general elections.
On 10 February 2019 Noor Ehsanuddin was charged by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for two counts of bribery by for accepting RM50,000 from printing company Karya Hidayah Sdn Bhd in 2013 and a plot of land said to be valued at RM180,000 from the same company in 2014,at the Kota Tinggi Land Office. [8] On 13 February 2019 Noor Ehsanuddin was charged by MACC again for another fourteen counts of receiving bribes also from the same printing company by way of payment for his BMW 3 Series car monthly instalments between 2014 and 2015,totaling RM23,540.68. [9] He was charged once again on the 14 February 2019 with five more counts of bribery in the form of maintenance for two vehicles,as well as the legal fee for purchase land totalling RM12,707.60,bringing the total graft charges against him to 21 in his capacity as a former Felda board member from the same printing company. [10]

Dato' Seri Utama Mukhriz bin Tun Dr. Mahathir is a Malaysian politician who twice served as the 11th and 13th Menteri Besar of Kedah from May 2013 to February 2016 and again from May 2018 to May 2020. He also served as the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak as well as former Minister Mustapa Mohamed from March 2008 to May 2013. He has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Jerlun from May 2018 to October 2022,from March 2008 to May 2013 and Member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Jitra since May 2018 as well as Ayer Hitam from May 2013 to May 2018. He is the third son of Mahathir Mohamad,the 4th,7th and former Prime Minister of Malaysia. He has been a founding member and 1st President of the Homeland Fighters' Party (PEJUANG) since party foundation in August 2020. He was a founding member,1st Deputy President and State Chairman of Kedah of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU) from party foundation in September 2016 to his membership termination in May 2020 and too,State Chairman of Kedah of its former coalition,Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalition. He was also a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition,till he left the party with Mahathir in 2016 to found BERSATU. He is one of the two Menteris Besar of Malaysia who represented two different political parties and coalitions.
Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Higher Education for the second term in Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Tinggi since November 2022. He served as the 15th Menteri Besar of Johor from May 2013 to May 2018,Deputy Minister of Works,Minister of Entrepreneur and Co-operatives Development and his first term as Minister of Higher Education in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Ministers Mahathir Mohamad,Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak from 1999 to 2013,MP for Johor Bahru from October 1990 to March 2004 and for Pasir Gudang from March 2004 to May 2013,Member of the Johor State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Permas from May 2013 to May 2018 and Chairman of Boustead Holdings from 2020 to his resignation in 2021. Khalid bin Abdul Samad is a Malaysian politician who served as the Minister of Federal Territories in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from July 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Shah Alam from March 2008 to November 2022. He is a member and Communications Director of the National Trust Party (AMANAH),a component party of the PH opposition coalition and was a member of the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a former component party of the former Pakatan Rakyat (PR) and Barisan Alternatif (BA) opposition coalitions. He is the younger brother of Shahrir Abdul Samad,former Minister and MP of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. Before PH and BN formed the federal coalition government in November 2022,they were opposing politically as both of them were in opposing political sides.
Shamsul Anuar bin Nasarah is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim and Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Lenggong since March 2008. He served as the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to his resignation in August 2021. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) party in the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He has also served as President of the Malaysian Youth Council. His appointment as a deputy minister in December 2022 is a demotion as he was previously appointed as a minister in March 2020. This has rarely happened in the Malaysian politics.
Dato' Seri Hamzah bin Zainudin is a Malaysian politician who has served as the 17th Leader of the Opposition since December 2022 and the Member of Parliament (MP) for Larut since March 2008. He served as the Minister of Home Affairs for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and the first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021,Minister of Domestic Trade,Cooperatives and Consumerism,Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs,Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities and Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government in the BN administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak from March 2008 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018 as well as Senator from September 2000 to September 2006. He was the Member of Parliament of Malaysia for the Kuala Pilah constituency in the State of Negeri Sembilan (2004-2018) and formerly the Ambassador of Malaysia to Cambodia. Noraini binti Ahmad is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Parit Sulong since March 2008. She served as the Minister of Higher Education for the second term under the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of BN administration in November 2022,the first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to her resignation in August 2021,the Deputy Minister of Human Resources in the BN administration under former Prime Ministers Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Najib Razak and former Minister Subramaniam Sathasivam from March 2008 to April 2009 and Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) under the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration from April 2019 to her ministerial appointment in March 2020. Datuk Halimah binti Mohamed Sadique is a Malaysian politician who served as the Minister of National Unity for the second term in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and her first term in the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin from March 2020 to August 2021 as well as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Tinggi from May 2018 to November 2022. Dato' Wira Amiruddin bin Hamzah is a Malaysian politician. He has been a member and Secretary-General of the Homeland Fighters' Party (PEJUANG) since its formation in August 2020 and was a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU). He has also served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kubang Pasu from May 2018 until November 2022. He served as Deputy Minister of Finance in the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration from July 2018 to its implosion in February 2020.
Takiyuddin bin Haji Hassan is a Malaysian politician from the Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS),a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Bharu since May 2013. He served as the 18th Menteri Besar of Johor from February 2020 to March 2022,State Leader of the Opposition of Johor from June 2018 to February 2020,Member of the Johor State Executive Council (EXCO) from May 2013 to May 2018 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Pontian from March 2004 to March 2008. He has served as the State Chairman of BN of Johor since 2018 and Division Chairman of UMNO of Pontian since 2001. He served as the State Chairman of UMNO of Johor from 2018 to his removal from the position in January 2023.
Ahmad Jazlan bin Yaakub (Jawi أحمدجزلانيعقوب;is a Malaysian politician who served as the Member of Parliament for Machang from May 2013 to November 2022. He served as the Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development in the Barisan Nasional administration under former Prime Minister Najib Razak and former Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob from May 2013 to the collapse of the BN administration in May 2018,Chairman of Malaysian Palm Oil Board from April 2020 to his resignation in January 2021 and Chairman of the National Kenaf and Tobacco Board from February 2015 to October 2015. He is a member,State Chairman of Kelantan and Division Chairman of Machang of the United Malays National Organisation,a component party of the ruling BN coalition which is aligned with another ruling PN coalition. However,on 9 January 2021,he personally and publicly announced his withdrawal of support and he was no longer aligned with PN as an MP although his coalition is,resulting in a hung parliament as the PN coalition led by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin lost the majority support by commanding the support of only half of 220 MPs in the Dewan Rakyat,Parliament. His withdrawal of support was the second one from his coalition after the withdrawal of support of Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah.

Datuk Yusof bin Yacob is a Malaysian politician who has served as Chairman of the Qhazanah Sabah Berhad since January 2023 and the Member of Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sindumin since May 2018. He served as State Minister of Education and Innovation of Sabah in the Heritage Party (WARISAN) state administration under former Chief Minister Shafie Apdal from May 2018 to the collapse of the WARISAN administration in September 2020,Deputy Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat from May 2004 to December 2007 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Sipitang from April 1995 to March 2008. He was a member of the WARISAN,before leaving the party on 8 October 2021 to become an independent in support of the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN) aligned with the ruling GRS coalition which he left in 2018 and rejoined in 2022. On 22 May 2022,he confirmed his return to BN and UMNO after leaving four years ago.
