Rochester Razorsharks American minor-league basketball team

The Rochester RazorSharks are a professional basketball team based in Rochester, New York. The RazorSharks were founded in 2005 as a member of the American Basketball Association (ABA). They remained in the ABA until 2007, leaving the league to become founding members of the Premier Basketball League (PBL). The RazorSharks have won eight championships to date – the 2006 ABA championship and PBL titles in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. The team joined the new North American Premier Basketball for the 2018 season and planned to play in The Basketball League in 2019 before the team decided to sit out the season. The RazorSharks announced in August 2019 that the team would return in a re-launched PBL for the 2020 season with the franchise rights acquired by Mooreland Productions, LLC, a local entertainment company, and have stated they will play in a new venue.

UE Red Warriors refer to the collegiate men's varsity teams of the University of the East. The women's collegiate varsity teams are called the UE Lady Warriors. The Athletic director of the University of the East is Rodrigo M. Roque.

Bengaluru Raptors is a franchise badminton team representing Bengaluru in the Premier Badminton League (PBL). The team is one of the six founding members of PBL in 2013. The franchise was owned by the conglomerate, BOP group in 2013. In 2016, Sachin Tendulkar bought the franchise and named it after his Blasters sports franchises. In 2018, Matrix Badminton Teamworks Pvt. Ltd. took over the team and renamed it to Bengaluru Raptors.

Hyderabad Hotshots was a badminton franchise team representing the city of Hyderabad in the Indian Badminton League(IBL). The team was one of the six franchises in the inaugural IBL 2013. The franchise was owned by Andhra Pradesh’s multi business group PVP Ventures. The primary home ground of Hyderabad Hotshots was Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Hyderabad Hotshots was captained by Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal and coached by Rajendra.

2016 Premier Badminton League badminton championships

2016 Premier Badminton League was the first edition of the Premier Badminton League.The league was formerly known as the Indian Badminton League. The season was held from 2–17 January 2016. The opening ceremony was held in Mumbai and the finals in Delhi. Delhi Dashers became the champions after beating Mumbai Rockets in the final.

Chennai Superstarz badminton club

Chennai Superstarz is a franchise badminton team based in Chennai that plays in the Premier Badminton League. The team has won the PBL title once. The franchise was renamed from Chennai Smashers to Chennai Superstarz in 2020 after a change of ownership.

Mumbai Rockets badminton club

Mumbai Rockets is a franchise badminton team representing Mumbai in the Premier Badminton League (PBL). The franchise is owned by Bombay Badminton Pvt. Ltd. The team's home ground is The National Sports Club Of India, Mumbai. The team is captained by Parupalli Kashyap, and coached by Amrish Shinde.

2017 Premier Badminton League was the second edition of Premier Badminton League. It started on 1 January 2017 and concluded on 14 January 2017. It consisted of 15 league ties and the top four teams progressed to the knock out stages. Sachin Tendulkar became a co-owner of Bengaluru Topguns before the season and they were renamed as Bengaluru Blasters.
Awadhe Warriors, Mumbai Rockets, Chennai Smashers and Hyderabad Hunters entered the semi-finals after topping the league table. Chennai Smashers beat Awadhe Warriors 4-1 and Mumbai Rockets beat Hyderabad Hunters 3-(-1) to proceed to the final. Chennai Smashers won the tournament after beating Mumbai Rockets 4-3.

2017–18 Premier Badminton League was the third edition of Premier Badminton League. It started on 23 December 2017 and concluded on 14 January 2018. It consisted of 20 league ties with the top four teams progressing to the knock out stages. The season featured two new teams – Ahmedabad Smash Masters and North Eastern Warriors – bringing the total to eight competing teams. Also, the Delhi team previously known as Delhi Acers will feature as Delhi Dashers.

Ahmedabad Smash Masters badminton club

Ahmedabad Smash Masters was a badminton team owned by Padmanabh Sports Pvt. Ltd. for the Premier Badminton League (PBL). The team's home ground was The Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad. In the 2017-18 the team was captained by Indian badminton player H.S. Prannoy, and coached by Madhumita Bisht. In the 2018-19 season the team was captained by non other than Viktor Axelsen from Denmark and still coached by Indian lady coach Madhumita Bisht The team was folded after PBL 2018-19 season due to financial issues.

Delhi Dashers was one of the Badminton teams competing in the Premier Badminton League (PBL). Delhi Dashers have been a part of the PBL since its inception and their best finish arrived in the Season 2 (2016), after defeating Mumbai Rockets in the finals. Owned by Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd., who became the new owners of the franchise from third season onwards, Delhi Dashers finished at the third position in the PBL season III (2017).

Ashmita Chaliha is an Indian badminton player. Born and brought up in Guwahati, she began playing badminton at the age of seven, and trained at the Assam Badminton Academy under Indonesian coach Edwin Iriawan and India’s Suranjan Bhobora, she was also coached by Pullela Gopichand for the asian games. Chaliha was part of the national junior team that competed at the 2017 World and Asian Junior Championships. She has been selected to be part of the Indian team for the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia. Chaliha won her first senior international title at the 2018 Dubai International Challenge in the women's singles event. She was the gold medalists at the 2019 South Asian Games in the women's singles and team events.

2018–19 Premier Badminton League was the fourth edition of Premier Badminton League. It was played from 22 December 2018 to 13 January 2019. The season featured a new team – Pune 7 Aces – bringing the total to nine competing teams. Also, the Bengaluru team previously known as Bengaluru Blasters featured as Bengaluru Raptors.

2020 Premier Badminton League badminton championships

2020 Premier Badminton League is the fifth edition of Premier Badminton League. It is being played from 20 January and concludes on 9 February 2020. The season features seven competing teams. Also, the Chennai team previously known as Chennai Smashers featured as Chennai Superstarz.

Pune 7 Aces Badminton club in India

Pune 7 Aces is a franchise badminton team based in Pune that plays in the Premier Badminton League. The franchise was formed in 2018 and has competed only in the season of 2018–19. The team is owned by Indian actress Tapsee Pannu and KRI Entertainment. The team is coached by Mathias Boe.
