The third season of the French television series Nouvelle Star on M6 began on 10 February 2005. On the final broadcast on 12 May 2004, the title was won by Myriam Abel.
All four judges of season 2 returned, being André Manoukian, Dove Attia, Marianne James and Manu Katché. Benjamin Castaldi continued to host the show for a third season.
In the final, Myriam Abel was declared winner by public vote, with Pierrick Lilliu as runner-up.

Myriam Morea also known as Myriam Abel is a French singer of Algerian descent who rose to popularity after winning Nouvelle Star 3, the French version of Pop Idol, shown by M6.
Pierrick Lilliu, is a French rock-singer living in Brittany and was born in Mulhouse, Alsace from a Sardinian father. He appeared in the French reality show Nouvelle Star and placed 2nd against Myriam Abel on 12 May 2005.
Hay Superstar / Hye Superstar is the Armenian version of the British television hit show Pop Idol. It is a talent contest to find the best young singer in Armenia.
Desafío de Estrellas is a Mexican musical show produced and distributed by TV Azteca, the second most important network in the country. The format of the Desafío is similar to American Idol with contestants eliminated every week and a grand finale with the top contestants competing to win the first place prize. TV Azteca has, until 2006, produced two versions of the program, one in 2003 and the other in 2006. The 2003 version consisted only of former contestants of La Academia, another TV Azteca-produced show which had already garnished two seasons and, in the process, taken away rating from Televisa, the prime network of the country. André Antranik Manoukian is a French songwriter, arranger, jazz musician, and actor of Armenian descent. Since 2002, he has also been one of the four judges in the French version of Pop Idol, Nouvelle Star.
The fifth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar live shows began 8 March 2008. It is currently hosted by Marco Schreyl and jury panel, Dieter Bohlen, Anja Lukaseder, and Andreas "Bär" Läsker also star. This season, instead of making top 20 shows, the producers decided to make the top 15 live show "Now or Never" and chose the top 10 live to premier in the "Mottoshows" for the upcoming season.

My Kitchen Rules is an Australian competitive cooking game show broadcast on the Seven Network since 2010. Celebrity chefs and co-hosts Pete Evans and Manu Feildel have appeared in every season in the show. They have been responsible for all challenges and judging across the series, with Colin Fassnidge acting as a judge in the challenge and as a mentor in the kitchen. The series is produced by the team who created the Seven reality show My Restaurant Rules, and was put into production based on the success of Network 10's MasterChef Australia.

The eighth season of Nouvelle Star began on March 2 and finished on June 16. Virginie Guilhaume returned as the host for her sophomore season. André Manoukian remained as the only original jury member after eight years along Philippe Manœuvre and Lio. After one season Sinclair decided to leave and was replaced by former FFF-member Marco Prince because of, according to fellow judge Lio, personal dissatisfaction in the Nouvelle Star-experience for Sinclair.

The ninth season of Nouvelle Star began on December 11, 2012 and finished on February 26, 2013. Virginie Guilhaume was replaced by Cyril Hanouna. André Manoukian remained as the only original jury member after nine years. Sinclair, Maurane and Olivier Bas joined Manoukian as judges for the season.
Assane Attyé better known by his stage name Ycare or is a French singer songwriter who was first known as a contestant in Nouvelle Star before launching a solo career releasing four studio albums, Au bord du monde (2009), Lumière noire (2011), La Somone (2014) and Adieu je t'aime (2018) and a live album Un tour sans fin (2016).
The second season of the French television series Nouvelle Star on M6 began on 11 February 2004. With season two, the new name was adopted after the programme was known in its inaugural season 1 broadcast from 27 March to 10 July 2003) as À la Recherche de la Nouvelle Star. On the final broadcast on 13 May 2004, the title was won by Steeve Estatof.
