Nu Dimension are an Indonesian four-piece boy band formed in 2012, consisting of members Romy Syalasa Putra, Johanan Ariel Matulessy, Bagus Cahya Adi and Ryan Hartanto Tedja. [1] They were formed exclusively for the first season Indonesian version of The X Factor . They signed with Ahmad Dhani's Republik Cinta Management after being formed and finishing third in the first season X Factor Indonesia.
Nu Dimension are four solo artists who met during boot camp for the first season Indonesian version of The X Factor. The members of the group are Romy Syalasa, Joel Matulessy, Bagus Cahya and Ryan Hartanto. They successfully auditioned as soloists but failed on a bootcamp challenge. Then they were later formed as a group by the judges to give them another chance. They performed Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" at the judges' home visit round and was selected to join Dhani in the live shows. In week 1, they sang George Michael's "Careless Whisper" and received positive feedback from the judges. They successfully surprised the judges after performing Michael Jackson's "Thriller" with Halloween-themed setting in week 3. For the first 3 weeks, Nu Dimension always placed number one at the end of the episodes. [2] [3] [4] In week 4, they sang Brian McKnight's "One Last Cry". In week 6, they sang Queen's "Killer Queen" and received mixed feedback from the judges, where some judges were not impressed with the song choice. Despite this, they received another praise from the judges in the following week after performing Britney Spears' "Toxic". In week 8, they sang "Istimewa" and "Don't You Worry Child". Despite receiving positive feedback from the judges, they were in the bottom two with Isa Raja and sang "After the Love Has Gone" for survival. Dhani and Rossa voted in their favor, but Anggun and Bebi voted to save Isa Raja instead, causing the judges' votes to be deadlocked and reverted to the public vote. It was then revealed that Isa Raja received fewer votes, causing Nu Dimension to stay in the competition for another week. In week 9, they collaborate with Mulan Jameela sing "Cinta Mati III" and received a negative feedback by the judges and said that they just sounds like a 'backing vocalists'. In week 10 they sang an epic performance "Supermassive Black Hole" and received praises by the judges. In week 11, they sang "Points of Authority" by Linkin Park and the judges said that it was the best performance of the night, And a tribute song "Cobalah Mengerti" by Noah. In The Top Three, They sang "Only Girl" by Rihanna and received a positive feedback from the judges. In the second song, they sang "Virtual Insanity" with collaborated with Their mentor and received a funny feedback, other judges said Nu Dimension shouldn't be in wrong way and shouldn't collaborated with their mentor.

Pop Idol is a British music competition television series created by Simon Fuller which ran on ITV from 2001 to 2003. Indonesian Idol Season Six is a continuation of the Indonesian Idol show in the year 2010. Indonesian Idol came back after a suspension in the year 2009. What is different in this season is the judge of this event is no longer Titi DJ and Indra, who was replaced by Erwin Gutawa and Agnes Monica. Formation of the judge changed to four persons, namely Erwin Gutawa who acts as chairman of the judge, Agnes Monica, Anang Hermansyah, and a guest judge. For the position of the host, remains entrusted to Daniel Mananta which will guide the event this year alone. This season, Indonesian Idol theme is "Be A Superstar". This is the last season where there is a male winner
The seventh season of Indonesian Idol premiered on RCTI on February 17, 2012. The show aired every Friday at 8:00 pm and Re-run aired every Sunday at 1:00 pm. Daniel Mananta returned as the host, while Anang Hermansyah and Agnes Monica returned as the judges, and musician and hits-maker Ahmad Dhani replaced Erwin Gutawa as the third judges. Fabian Dharmawan became the new Executive Producer. Vokal Plus founder & CEO Indra Aziz, and Irvan Nat, both of them are professional vocal couches, became the new in-house mentors to work with the contestants on a weekly basis. Universal Music Indonesia replaced Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia as Idol's official partner record label. Cross Mobile, Coolant, Honda and Mie Sedaap, were the official sponsors of the show. This season followed the same format as American Idol season 11 and used the new title screen & logo with a different font started from Spectacular round.
The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eighth series aired on ITV on 20 August 2011 and ended on 11 December 2011. Dermot O'Leary hosted the main show on ITV, while Caroline Flack and series 6 runner-up Olly Murs co-presented the spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2. Louis Walsh returned to the judging panel and was joined by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa. Barlow, Rowland, Tulisa joined the panel replacing judges, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Series 5 winner Alexandra Burke served as a guest judge for week 4 of the live shows due to Rowland having a throat infection.

Ellona Rano Santiago is a Filipino-born American singer from San Lorenzo, California. She was a contestant on American television show The X Factor. In season 1, she was a part of the ten-member group InTENsity mentored by Paula Abdul which were the first contestant eliminated. Santiago returned in season 3, where she was mentored by Demi Lovato and was the eighth contestant eliminated.
Ratu was an Indonesian music duo formed in 1999 with Maia Estianty, then the wife of musician Ahmad Dhani, on instruments and Pinkan Mambo on vocals. Ratu entered the Indonesian musical scene with their first album, Bersama. After a short break caused by Mambo's departure in 2004, the group formed anew with Mulan Kwok as vocalist. This new line-up proved more successful, with their most successful songs – "Teman Tapi Mesra" and "Lelaki Buaya Darat" ("Womaniser") – released in this period; both song titles later became common terms in the Indonesian vocabulary. The eighth season of Indonesian Idol, also known as Indonesian Idol 2014: A Decade of Dreams, premiered on RCTI on December 27, 2013. Anang Hermansyah and Ahmad Dhani returned as the judges. Agnes Monica was replaced by Tantri of Kotak, and Titi DJ, who returned to the show for her sixth season after her absence in season 6 and 7. Raisa and Indra Lesmana replace Titi and Anang during the Yogyakarta auditions. Later during the Spectacular weeks, Raisa replaced Titi during the Top 9 performances and Tantri during the Top 5. Indra replaced Tantri during the Top 8 performances. Daniel Mananta returns as the host.

H. Virdy Megananda, known popularly as Bebi Romeo, is an Indonesian musician. He began his career in the mid-1990s as the vocalist of band Bima. Before their disbandment, the band released their only studio album, Sebuah Awal (1996), which featured single "Dua Hati". Bebi achieved his prominence in music scene after forming band Romeo in 1998. The band's most popular hit "Bunga Terakhir" (1999) was composed by Bebi himself. Novita Dewi Marpaung is an Indonesian singer, who gained wide prominence after being the runner-up of the first season of X Factor Indonesia. She is known for her powerful vocals and skilled singing techniques. Dewi is the daughter of legendary Batak singer Jack Marpaung. She started her music career in the mid-1990s through various singing competitions and festivals. She was the runner-up of Cipta Pesona Bintang, the weekly champion of Asia Bagus, and the winner of Festival Suara Remaja Vinolia (RCTI). Her highest achievement was as the grand champion of Astana International Song Festival 2005 in Kazakhstan.

The winner of this season received 1 billion rupiahs, an all-new car and motorcycle units, and a recording contract with Hits Records.
