Number 1 is the first Japanese album by South Korean boy band Big Bang,released by YG Entertainment and Universal Music Japan in Japan. Some of the songs were written and composed by the members themselves,most notably G-Dragon. The album includes the group's first two mini-albums in Japan and songs from their third mini-album in South Korea. BigBang is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. The group consists of four members: G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019. Dubbed the "Kings of K-pop", they helped spread the Korean Wave internationally and are considered one of the most influential acts in K-pop. They are known for their trendsetting musical experimentation, self-production, and stage presence.
Stand Up is the third Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, it was released on August 8, 2008. The EP sold over 140,000 copies by the end of the following month, supported by the popularity of the number one hit single "Haru Haru". The song became one of the most downloaded singles of all-time in South Korea.
Always is the first Korean EP by South Korean boy band Big Bang, released under YG Entertainment on August 16, 2007. Commercially, the album recorded pre-orders of 30,000 copies and sold over 55,000 copies by the end of October 2007.

"Lollipop" was used to debut 2NE1 unofficially, as it does not serve as their debut single. 2NE1 followed up with their official debut single "Fire".

It was made available for digital download and streaming as the EP's first single on February 22, 2012, by YG Entertainment. The song was written and composed by G-Dragon along with Teddy Park, with additional rap parts penned by T.O.P. Stylistically, the track conveys the emotions of feeling blue—akin to its title—after letting go of a romantic relationship, and showcases a more emotional and vulnerable side of BigBang while at the same time providing a comforting undertone.

Treasure is a South Korean boy band formed in 2019 by YG Entertainment, through YG Treasure Box (2018–2019); and consists of 10 members: Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeong-woo, and So Jung-hwan. Its former members, Mashiho and Bang Ye-dam, departed from the group in November 2022. Treasure debuted with the single album The First Step: Chapter One (2020)—the first in a tetralogy of albums which collectively sold over one million copies in five months.
