Stand Up is the third Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, it was released on August 8, 2008. [1] The EP sold over 140,000 copies by the end of the following month, [2] supported by the popularity of the number one hit single "Haru Haru". [3] The song became one of the most downloaded singles of all-time in South Korea. Star News named Stand Up one of the most successful digital albums since 2004. [4]
Teasers for the album was released on August 1, including the announcement that Japanese DJ Daishi Dance had collaborated with the group on a song. [5] Released on August 8, 2008, the EP sold more than 30,000 copies in two days [6] and sold 100,000 copies in two weeks. [7] Stand Up was the number-one album of the month for August 2008, becoming the group's first monthly number-one album in South Korea. [8] It eventually sold over 168,000 copies by 2016.

Moon Hee-joon is a South Korean pop rock singer-songwriter signed under SidusHQ. He initially rose to fame as the leader of former boy band H.O.T. under SM Entertainment.
Kim Hyun-jung is a South Korean pop singer. Well known as the "Long-legged singer", and with the experience of performing in a heavy metal band, Kim made her debut as a female solo singer with the dance-infused album Legend. The song "Breakup with Her" was a fast-tempo song with strong beats that shot Kim quickly to the top. The song "Lonely Love" was also a great hit. Since her debut, Kim Hyun-jung has succeeded in releasing great songs, usually dance numbers.
