Nur-Ana "Lady Ann" Indanan Sahidulla is a Filipino politician. She was a representative of Sulu Province's 2nd congressional district in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) from 2010 to 2013. She is a close ally of Abdusakur Mahail Tan.
"Lady Ann" was born September 21,1959,in Pasil,Indanan,as the daughter of Sitti Rashidam Indanan and Omar Suhaili. She attended Rio Hondo Elementary School,Southern City Colleges High School in Zamboanga,and then received her Bachelor of Science in Commerce from Zamboanga AE Colleges,now Universidad de Zamboanga in 1980. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication in 1988 from Western Mindanao State University,Zamboanga City. [1]
She is married to Abdulwahid O. Sahdulla,mayor of Banguingui,and is sister to Delna Indanan-Hassan who married ARMM Assemblyman Alhabsi Hassan. She has four children. She is a "professional" song composer and singer with her own band. [1]
Sahidulla was the mayor of Banguingui Sulu for two consecutive terms from 1998 to 2004 and then went on to serve two terms as vice-governor of Sulu serving from 2004 to 2010. In 2010 she gave up the seat to Benjamin Loong,instead running as the representative from the 2nd District. [1]
Lady Ann has a reputation as an advocate of peace and justice,and as a negotiator. In 1995 she established the Anak Ilo Foundation,and since 2004 has been chairwoman of the Philippine National Red Cross,Sulu Chapter. [1]
In 2008,when she was vice governor,she did negotiations to free her cameramen from the Abu Sayyaf militant group.
In 2022,Lady Ann ran for Senator in the 2022 Philippine Senate elections with the political party Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan (or PDDS) not joining any slate,but she got the 52nd spot with 572,645 votes or 1.03% of the votes. [2]

Abdusakur "Sakur" Mahail Tan is a Filipino politician and current governor of Sulu in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. He previously served as the Vice Governor of Sulu.
Yusop Jikiri was a Filipino politician,leader within the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) and governor (2001–2004) of Sulu Province in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). He also served as a representative from Sulu's 1st District (2007–10) and ran again in 2010,but lost to Tupay Loong. He was the beneficiary of shifting political alliances between the Tan and Loong families.
Abdulmunir "Munir" Mundoc Arbison is a Filipino politician who served as the Representative of Sulu's 2nd district from 2001 to 2010 and from 2016 to 2022. He was generally supportive of Philippine and U.S. operations against radical Islamic groups such as the Abu Sayyaf Group and of peace efforts to resolve the conflict in Mindanao. His brother is Allayon M. Arbison Jr.
Habib Tupay T. Loong was a Filipino politician who was a representative of Sulu's 1st congressional district in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM). He is the older brother of Ben Tupay Loong,the current vice-governor,and himself served as Governor of Sulu for three terms. Together the "Loong Brothers" constitute a formidable political force in Sulu.
Hadji Sadikul "Dick" Adalla Sahali is a Filipino politician and former Governor of Tawi-Tawi,an island province in the Sulu Archipelago. Politically,Tawi-Tawi is part of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
Alvarez Silal Isnaji is a Filipino politician who served as acting governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) after Nur Misuari was removed in 2001. He briefly served as the governor of ARMM in September 3,2001 until October 11,2001 when Nur Misuari went on an official leave. He was succeeded by Parouk Hussin on December 27,2001.

The 1976 Tripoli Agreement was signed on December 23,1976 in Tripoli,Libya by Carmelo Z. Barbero,representing the Government of the Philippines and Nur Misuari of the Moro National Liberation Front. The agreement defined autonomous administrative divisions for Muslims in the southern Philippines,the establishment of an autonomous government,judicial system for Sharia law and special security forces,and the observance of a ceasefire. The autonomous region was to have its own economic system,including an Islamic bank.
The 2001 rebellion of the Moro National Liberation Front Misuari faction against the Philippine government during the presidency of Gloria Macapagal Arroyo was led by Nur Misuari,the founder of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF). It began on November 19,2001,when members of a faction of the MNLF loyal to Misuari attacked a Philippine Army headquarters in Jolo,Sulu in the Philippines. The attack was meant to disrupt the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao elections scheduled for November 26 of that year,which eventually replaced Misuari as governor.
The 2019 Bangsamoro autonomy plebiscite was a two-part plebiscite held in Mindanao,Philippines,that ratified the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) and replaced the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) with the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM),as well as the scope of the said region.
The 2008 Maimbung kidnappings were a terrorist incident in the Philippines in June 2008,where ABS-CBN journalist Ces Drilon and news cameramen Jimmy Encarnacion and Angelo Valderrama were abducted in Sulu by al-Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf militants.
