Obsession is an upcoming American thriller television series created by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher for Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on Catherine Ryan Howard's novel 56 Days. It stars Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia.
Oliver and Ciara start an intense relationship after meeting in a supermarket but police fear it has ended in murder after an unidentifiable body is found. [1]
The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Atomic Monster and was commissioned in December 2023. [2] The series is written and executive-produced by Lisa Zwerling and Karyn Usher. James Wan is one of the executive producers, along with Michael Clear and Rob Hackett at Atomic Monster. [3]
In May 2024, Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia were cast in the lead roles of Ciara and Oliver. [4] In June 2024, Dorian Missick, Karla Souza, Patch Darragh, Kira Guloien, Celeste Oliva, Jesse James Keitel and Matt Murray joined the cast. [5]
