The Bondsman is an upcoming American action horror television series created by Grainger David for Amazon Prime Video.

In June 2023, it was reported that Prime Video commissioned eight half-hour episodes of the horror drama, created by Grainger David with Erik Oleson as showrunner and executive producer via his CrimeThink production company for whom Paul Shapiro also is executive producer. Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, Jeremy Gold and Chris Dickie executive produce for Blumhouse Television, as will Kevin Bacon and Grainger David. [2]
Filming took place in Grantville, Georgia in April 2024. [3]
In June 2023, Kevin Bacon cast in the lead role as an undead bounty hunter. [4] In January 2024, Jennifer Nettles was cast alongside Bacon. [5] In March 2024, Beth Grant, Damon Herriman, Maxwell Jenkins, Jolene Purdy joined the show in series regular roles. [6]
Damon Herriman is an Australian actor. He is best known for his roles as Dewey Crowe on the FX neo-western crime series Justified (2010–15), and Romeo on the Starz drama miniseries Flesh and Bone (2015). He is also known for having played Charles Manson twice, first on the second season of the Netflix psychological crime thriller series Mindhunter, and later in the comedy drama film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Lamorne Morris is an American actor and comedian. He has played the roles of Winston Bishop in the Fox sitcom New Girl (2011–2018), Daniel in Call Me Kat, Darrin Morris in the National Geographic docudrama Valley of the Boom (2019), about the 90s tech boom, cartoonist Keef Knight in the Hulu comedy Woke (2020–2022), and North Dakota State Trooper Whitley "Witt" Farr in the fifth season of Fargo, for which he won a Primetime Emmy Award.
