Old Sussex County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was built in 1793, and is a two-story, five-bay, frame structure in a late Georgian style. It is sheathed in cypress shingles. It was moved to its present location in 1837 and converted to residential use. Its former site on The Circle is occupied by the present Sussex County Courthouse. [2] On September 20, 1962, the building and lot were conveyed to the State of Delaware. A major renovation project was undertaken in 1974. [3]

The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971. [1]

The Lake Butler Woman's Club, also known as the Old Union County Courthouse, is an historic building now located at 285 NE First Avenue in Lake Butler, Union County, Florida. It was built in 1923 on the site of the present Union County Courthouse. This replaced two previous courthouses which had served Bradford County, from which Union County had been separated in 1921. When the new courthouse was built in 1936, this building was moved to its present site and given to the Woman's Club.

Sussex County Courthouse and the Circle is a historic courthouse located at The Circle in Georgetown, Sussex County, Delaware. It was designed by noted Philadelphia architect William Strickland (1788–1854) and built between 1837 and 1840. It is a two-story, brick structure with a brick tower over the entrance hall. It originally featured a squat entrance tower surmounted by an undersized cupola. In 1914, the tower was enlarged and columns were added to the front. Renovations carried out in 1970 gave the building a decidedly more Georgian appearance. The Circle was laid out in 1791-1792 as a public green at the center of a baroque town plan for Georgetown. One of the first buildings constructed was the Old Sussex County Courthouse, which was moved to allow construction of the current Sussex County Courthouse.

Old Statehouse is a historic state capitol building located on The Green at Dover, Kent County, Delaware. It was built between 1787 and 1792, and is a two-story, five-bay, brick structure in a Middle Georgian style. The front facade features a fanlight over the center door and above it a Palladian window at the center of the second floor. It has a shingled side gabled roof topped with an octagonal cupola. The Deep Creek Furnace Site is a historic colonial industrial site in rural Sussex County, Delaware, near the community of Middleford. The Deep Creek Furnace is one of the two oldest blast furnaces established in what is now southern Delaware for processing bog iron into wrought iron. It was established by Jonathan Vaughn, who came from Pennsylvania and began acquiring land for it c. 1763. The main furnace was located at the head of Deep Creek, and a forge for processing its pig iron was set up 4 miles (6.4 km) away at present-day Middleford. Vaughn apparently operated the facilities until the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War, in which he served in the Continental Army.

The Old Mine Road Historic District is a 687-acre (278 ha) historic district located along Old Mine Road in Sussex County and Warren County, New Jersey. It is part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 3, 1980, for its significance in agriculture, archaeology, architecture, commerce, exploration/settlement, and transportation. It includes 24 contributing buildings and five contributing sites.

Bevans, also known as Peters Valley, is an unincorporated community located at the intersection of Bevans Road, Walpack Road, and Kuhn Road in Sandyston Township of Sussex County, New Jersey. The village is now part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Both the Delaware River and the Old Mine Road are nearby.

The Foster–Armstrong House is a historic house museum located at 320 River Road in Montague Township of Sussex County, New Jersey. It was documented by the Historic American Buildings Survey in 1970. The farmhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 23, 1979, for its significance in agriculture, architecture, commerce, and exploration/settlement. The house is now part of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The museum is managed by the Montague Association for the Restoration of Community History.

Millville is an unincorporated community located along River Road and Shimers Brook in Montague Township of Sussex County, New Jersey. The Montague Grange and other parts of the community are in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
