Ole Petter Pollen (born 16 September 1966) is a Norwegian sailor, world champion in Europe (dinghy) and Olympic medalist in Flying Dutchman.
Pollen became World Champion in Europe (dinghy) in 1985. [1] He won a silver medal in the Flying Dutchman class at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, together with Erik Bjørkum. [2] [3] Pollen and Bjørkum won a silver medal at the 1988 European Championships, and a bronze medal at the 1989 Flying Dutchman World Championship. [1]

Jennifer Margaret Armstrong is an Olympic sailor from New Zealand. After competing for her native country at the 1992 Olympics, she moved to Australia in 1996 and won a historic sailing gold for her adopted country at the 2000 Olympics.

Frank and Martin won a bronze medal in the 470 class at the 1983 Pan American Games in Caracas Venezuela. Frank's father Paul was a two time Olympian and represented Canada in the Firefly class at the 1948 Olympics in Torquay England, and in the Finn class at the 1952 Olympics in Helsinki Finland. Frank's brother Terry won a silver medal in the Flying Dutchman class at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles with Evert Bastett.
The Flying Dutchman was a sailing event on the Sailing at the 1988 Summer Olympics program in Pusan, South Korea. Seven races were scheduled. 44 sailors, on 22 boats, from 22 nations competed. The second race falling on the Jewish most holy day of the "Yom Kipur" prevented the Israeli duo Sela and Amir from sailing thus pushing them out of the medals.
