Olive Township is one of thirteen townships in St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. [3] As of the 2000 census, its population was 3,914. [4]

History

Olive Township was formed in 1830. [5] The township was named for Olive Stanton Vail, the wife of an early settler. [6]

The Haven Hubbard Home and Studebaker Clubhouse and Tree Sign are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. [7] [8]

Education

Olive Township is served by the New Carlisle-Olive Township Public Library. [9]
