The song was written by band member Tony Mortimer with its producer, Robin Goodfellow, becoming a number-one hit in Finland, Israel, and Sweden. It was also a top-40 hit in several other countries between 1992 and 1994. In the United Kingdom, "House of Love" peaked at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. Two different music videos were produced to promote the single. Rolling Stone ranked the song at number 75 in their list of "75 Greatest Boy Band Songs of All Time" in 2020.

The single was released only in Europe and Australia.

"Breakfast in Bed" is a soul–R&B song written by Muscle Shoals songwriters Eddie Hinton and Donnie Fritts for Dusty Springfield. It takes a knowing spin on the line "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me", the title of a song that had previously been a number one hit for her in the UK. After being released on her 1969 album Dusty in Memphis, it was recorded and popularized the same year by Baby Washington. Harry J produced three reggae versions in 1972, by Lorna Bennett, Scotty, and Bongo Herman.

"Turtle Power!" is a song by American hip hop duo Partners in Kryme. The song was released by SBK Records and was from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soundtrack. An early unfinished version without Shane Faber's production was featured in the film's closing credits, and it is this version which is now commonly found on retro 90s compilations and on streaming sites, despite the fact the film mix was not officially released in the 1990s. In the UK, the film mix heard in the end credits featured the words "ninja" replaced with "hero", even though the film was not retitled the UK, unlike the 1987 cartoon series. The track was also used in the 2013 Activision's video game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

The duo consisted of rappers Robert "Don't Try To Xerox (DTTX)" Ramirez (September 26, 1969 – July 13, 2016) and Robert "One Dope Mexican (ODM)" Gutierrez (born August 22, 1974). They are best known for their 1990 hit single "On a Sunday Afternoon" which had great success in both the U.S., and New Zealand.

"Are You Ready for Love" is a song recorded by English musician Elton John in 1977 and first released in the UK in 1979 as the first single from the EP The Thom Bell Sessions. It was written by LeRoy Bell, Thom Bell and Casey James, and was originally produced in Philadelphia by Thom Bell, who had already produced a series of hits for the Spinners, the Delfonics and the Stylistics. While the song "Mama Can't Buy You Love" from the EP charted in 1979, this song and the other track on the three-track 12-inch vinyl disc, "Three Way Love Affair", were only minor footnotes at the time. Brown & Proud is the debut studio album by Latin hip hop group A Lighter Shade of Brown. It was released in 1990 through Pump Records with distribution via Quality Records. The recording sessions took place at Paramount Recording Studios, Trax Recording Studio, and Image Recorders, in Hollywood, and at Beach Recording Studios in Redondo Beach. The album was produced by Fabe Love, Jammin' James Carter, D.J. Romeo, D.J. Battlecat, and Tony G. It features guest appearances from Chulo, Huggy Boy, Teardrop, King Ed, and Shiro.

The track served as the third single from the group's debut studio album, New Wave, and was released in February 1992 on One Little Indian Records. It was written by Guy Batson and Johnny Male. Despite the success of their first single, "I Don't Even Know If I Should Call You Baby", which peaked at No. 49 on the UK Singles Chart, "The Day You Went Away" did not chart. In 1992, Australian singer-songwriter Wendy Matthews covered the song, which reached No. 2 on the Australian Singles Chart and won two ARIA Music Awards.
