Orangefield Old Boys' Association Football Club (or Orangefield OB) is a Northern Irish, intermediate football club playing in Division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club formed in 1966 and included past members and teachers of Orangefield High School. The club joined the Amateur League in 1970, achieving intermediate status in 1987. [1] They currently play their home matches at the Cregagh Sports Club on Gibson Park Avenue, Belfast. The first team is managed by Gary Cunningham with Stephen Carlisle serving as assistant manager. Orangefield OB field six teams in total. As well as the first team, there is a second team playing in NAFL Division 3B, a development team playing in Div 4 of BBOB league and junior teams for the Under 16's, Under 15's and Under 14's.

Northern Ireland is a part of the United Kingdom in the north-east of the island of Ireland, variously described as a country, province or region. Northern Ireland shares a border to the south and west with the Republic of Ireland. Northern Amateur Football League

The Northern Amateur Football League, also known as the Northern Amateur League and often simply as the Amateur League, is an association football league in Northern Ireland. It contains 13 divisions. These comprise four intermediate sections: the Premier Division, Division 1A, Division 1B and Division 1C; three junior sections: Division 2A, Division 2B and Division 2C; and six reserve sections.

Orangefield High School was a secondary school in east Belfast, Northern Ireland. Formerly Orangefield Boys' Secondary School and Orangefield Girls' Secondary School, it became coeducational before it closed in 2014.

Dromara Village F.C.

Dromara Village Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate football club based in Dromara who currently play in Division 1B of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club has three senior teams playing in the Amateur League and the Newcastle and District League, and one under-17 youth team competing in the Lisburn Invitational League. The club joined the Newcastle and District League in 1976, and gained intermediate status upon entry to Division 1C of the Amateur League in 1986. The biggest achievement for the club in recent years was promotion to the Premier Division of the Amateur Premier League at the end of the 2007–08 season. In latter history one of the big highlights for the club was reaching the Steel & Sons cup final in 1996 when the Villagers were narrowly defeated in a cup final replay, having drawn the first tie against Ballymena United Reserves. They play their football at Bell's Bridge, just outside Dromara, and boosts some of the best facilities in the Amateur League, consisting of two well kept full size playing pitches, one full size training pitch, a club house and a small grandstand for spectators.

Larne Technical Old Boys Football Club, commonly known as Larne Tech Old Boys, is a Northern Irish, intermediate football club based in Larne, playing in Division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club formed on 30 May 1950 by former pupils of the Larne Technical College. Since 1971, they have played their home matches at Dennis Harvey Park on the Upper Cairncastle Road, Larne. Johnny Hastings is the current first team manager. There is also a second team currently playing in the NAFL Division 3B.

Newcastle Football Club is a Northern Irish, intermediate football club based in Newcastle, County Down, Northern Ireland playing in Division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club currently has three senior teams: Newcastle FC, Newcastle Swifts and Newcastle Young Boys. Newcastle Swifts currently play in the Premier Division of the McCalls Newcastle & District league while Newcastle Young Boys play in Division 1 of the McCalls Newcastle & District league. The club has a number of youth teams playing in the National League, Lisburn Junior Invitational leagues and the Downpatrick Youth Football leagues (DYFL). The First Team is currently managed by Gordon Moore and his assistants, Paddy Baker, Stephen O’Higgins and Wayne Lennon.

Rathfriland Rangers Football Club is a Northern Irish, intermediate football club playing in the Premier Division of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club is based in Rathfriland, County Down and was formed in 1962 and joined the Newcastle & District League before attaining intermediate status and joining the Amateur League in 1986. The club currently consists of four teams: the 1st XI (Rangers), 2nd XI (Swifts) 3rd XI (Colts) and the 4ths as well as an under-17 squad. Rathfriland Rangers currently play in The Premier Division of the Northern Ireland Amateur league, whilst the 2nd team is in the Mid-Ulster Football League 2nd Division, having clinched promotion in 2007–08. Downshire Young Men Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate football club playing in Division 1B of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club was formed c.1961 as Downshire F.C. and played in the Lisburn League until joining the Amateur League in 1974 under its present name. Intermediate status was achieved in 1985. Home matches are played at the Old Coach Road, Hillsborough. Downshire also fields a second team which plays in NAFL Division 3C. Bryansburn Rangers Football Club is a Northern Irish, intermediate football club playing in Division 1B of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club are from Bangor, County Down and play their home matches at Ballywooley Park on the Crawfordsburn Road. The club was founded in 1974 and joined the Amateur League in 1984.

Bloomfield F.C.

Bloomfield Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate football club playing in Division 1C of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club formed in the 1930s as the 24th O.B., composed of former members of the 24th Belfast Boys' Brigade company. In 1990, they changed their name to Bloomfield upon joining the Amateur League (having spent some 30 years in the BB Old Boys' Union League. They play their home matches at the Orangefield playing fields complex at Houston Park, Belfast. The first team manager is Billy Carson and is backed up by assistant managers Colin Rooney and Sammy Spence. As well as the first team, there is a second team playing in the NAFL Division 3B and a third team in the premier league of the South Antrim Football League. Bangor Amateurs Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate-level football club playing in Division 1C of the Northern Amateur Football League from Bangor, County Down. The club was formed in 1969 as 2nd Bangor Old Boys, playing in the BB Old Boys' Union League until joining the Amateur League in 1977. The club changed to its name to the current name in 1979 and won the Irish Junior Cup in 1985–86, after which intermediate status was attained.

Bangor Swifts Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate-level football club playing in Division 1C of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club was founded when a team representing Wesley Centenary Youth Guild played its first match on 12 September 1970 at Rathgael Special School. The team only played friendly and Summer League matches, mainly because most of the members of the team were still attending the local Bangor Grammar School. In March 1972 the team changed its name to Epworth Hall Youth Club and began to play football at junior level. The following year it took up its current name of Bangor Swifts.

18th Newtownabbey Old Boys Football Club, often shortened to 18th Newtownabbey OB and commonly known as 18th Newtownabbey, is a Northern Irish intermediate-level football club playing in Division 1B of the Northern Amateur Football League. They play at Cloyne Crescent in Monkstown, Newtownabbey. County Antrim.

Ballynure Old Boys Football Club, also known as Ballynure O.B., is an intermediate-level football club playing in the Premier division of the Ballymena & Provincial League in Northern Ireland. The club was founded in 1969. As well as the 1st team, the club also has 2nd team playing in the Junior Division 2 of the league. The club is based in Ballynure, County Antrim, but plays its home matches at Mossley Park, Carnmoney.

Camlough Rovers Football Club is an intermediate-level football club situated in Newry, County Armagh playing in the Intermediate A division of the Mid-Ulster Football League. The club was founded in 1980 and are known for wearing the traditional colours of Green and white. Camlough Rovers secured the Intermediate B title and promotion to Intermediate A in 2010-11 winning the league by a narrow margin of one single point, this was achieved in Gary Quinn's first season as first team manager. In the following season Camlough's first year in Intermediate A, was definitely one to remember, winning it in their first season after being promoted from Intermediate B. Camlough Rovers first played in Northern Ireland's biggest cup competition the JJB Irish Cup on Saturday 18 September 2010 against Lurgan Town Boys Camlough Rovers won the game 5–2 with goals from S. Hughes x3, D. Monaghan and M. McCormack making it a debut win to the competition, and followed this win with a brilliant performance in the second round, overcoming Barn United FC beating them 2–0, with goals from S. Kane and D. Monaghan.

F. C. Ballynure were an intermediate and junior-level football club in Northern Ireland. The club was formed in 2004 and played its home matches at Parkview Hockey Club in Doagh, County Antrim.

Northern Ireland Football League

The Northern Ireland Football League, known historically, and still colloquielly, as the Irish League, is the national football league of Northern Ireland. The Irish League was originally formed in 1890, with the league in its current format created in 2013 to assume independent collective management of the top three levels of the Northern Ireland football league system; namely the Premiership, Championship and Premier Intermediate League.

The 2017–18 Irish Cup was the 138th edition of the premier knock-out cup competition in Northern Irish football since its introduction in 1881. The competition began on 19 August 2017 and concluded with the final at Windsor Park in May 2018.
