Comber Recreation Football Club (or more commonly Comber Rec.) is an intermediate, Northern Irish football club based in Comber, playing in the Premier Division of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club was founded in 1950 as Comber Youth Club. Its home ground is located at Parkway in Comber. The team are managed by Gareth McKeown and Mark Picking. In addition to its first XI, Comber also fields two reserve teams and multiple youth teams. The 2nd XI currently play in the Amateur League Division 3A while the 3rd XI are in Division 1 of the Down Area Winter Football League.

History

In 1950, the club formed as Comber Youth Club, although it only played friendly matches for its first two seasons. The club then successfully applied to join the Irish Churches' League, affiliating itself to the local Presbyterian church and renaming the club as 1st Comber Presbyterian. It remained there for only a couple of seasons before joining the Northern Amateur Football League in the mid-1950s. At first, club facilities were fairly sparse. The club had to share the grounds at Parkway with Comber Young Men and the changing facilities had little lighting, no water and was heated by a coal-fired stove.

The fortunes of the club were to quickly improve. The 1956–57 season saw them win their trophy when they won the Border Cup. The following season they retained the Border Cup and also won the Clarence Cup. The club has had other cup successes but their most important to date was their victory over Brantwood in the final of the Steel and Sons Cup in 1991–92. They almost claimed the title for a second time when they made it to the final in 1996 but lost to Chimney Corner.

On Thursday 8 November 2012 Comber Rec Ladies was formed by Heather McCracken & Winston Kerr. In their inaugural season in the NIWFA, Comber Rec Ladies finished 3rd in Division 4. 2014 saw Comber Rec Ladies compete in Division 3, with Comber Rec Ladies winning the league title on the last match of the season, with an emphatic 5–0 win over Fermanagh Mallards. Comber Rec Ladies added to their trophy haul by winning back to back League Titles - the NIWFA South 1 title in 2017 and the NIWFA Championship in 2018.

In October 2015 Comber Rec Ladies and Comber Rec Youth were awarded Clubmark NI 1*Star Accreditation having met standards in: Effective Management, Quality Coaching and Competition, Safety in Sport.

Larne Technical College Old Boys Association Football Club, commonly known as Larne Tech Old Boys, is a Northern Irish, intermediate football club based in Larne, playing in the Premier Division of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club formed on 30 May 1950 by former pupils of the Larne Technical College. Since 1971, they have played their home matches at Dennis Harvey Park on the Upper Cairncastle Road, Larne. Johnny McCullough is 1st Team Manager. There is also a second team currently playing in the NAFL Division 3A.

North Down Hockey Club is a field hockey club affiliated to the Ulster Branch of Hockey Ireland. The club was founded in 1896.

Sirocco Works Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate football club playing in Division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League. Established in 1924, the club is the longest existing club in all the intermediate and junior divisions in Northern Ireland. The club currently play matches at Dixon Park in East Belfast. The club also fields a second team in Division 3B of the Amateur League as well as several youth teams.

Ballymacash Rangers Football Club is an intermediate-level football club who play in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League. The club is based in the Lisburn area and play their home games at The Bluebell Stadium. The club also has a senior reserve side, senior swifts side, senior women's side and a youth academy.

Rosemount Recreation Football Club is a Northern Irish football club from Greyabbey playing in Division 1B of the Northern Amateur Football League (NAFL). The 2011/2012 season saw the club celebrating 100 years of organised football in Greyabbey. The club finished 1st in Division 2A of the NAFL for the 2016/17 season, which saw them in intermediate football for the first time. In the 2017/18 season, the 2nd team won division 3D of the amateur league, being promoted to 3C, celebrating two consecutive promotions.

Ballynahinch Olympic Football Club is a Northern Irish, intermediate football club based in Ballynahinch, County Down, playing its matches at Kilmore Playing Fields, Crossgar. They play in Division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League. Club colours are Claret and Blue.

Newry City Ladies Football Club is a women's association football club based in Newry, County Armagh, Northern Ireland. They were founded in 2011 and re-founded in 2012. They are currently affiliated to Newry City A.F.C. men's team and play at The Showgrounds.
