Dundela Football Club, nicknamed "The Duns" is a semi-professional, Northern Irish football club from Belfast, currently playing in the NIFL Championship, and plays its home matches at Wilgar Park. The club's colours are green and white. The home kit has green shirts, green shorts and green socks, whilst the away kit is all red.

According to RSSSF, he scored more than 809 goals in official matches, which makes him one of the most prolific goal scorers of all time.
Thomas Arneill Dickson was a Northern Irish international footballer who most notably played with Linfield from 1948 to 1965. He played 660 times for Linfield, scoring 454 goals. He has been cited as one of the greatest Irish League players of all time. His popularity among Linfield fans led to him being nicknamed The Duke of Windsor.
Cork Athletic Football Club was an Irish football club based in Cork. They played in the League of Ireland between 1948 and 1957. They were the successor club of Cork United. When United quit the league in October 1948, Cork Athletic was immediately formed to take their place. Athletic won the league in 1950 and only lost the cup final against Transport after two replays. The following year they won a league and FAI Cup double after beating Shelbourne in a replay to win the cup. In 1953 they won the first all-Cork FAI Cup final, beating Evergreen United 2–1. Athletic also began the Cork tradition of fielding veteran English League players by recruiting Sunderland legend Raich Carter. The club eventually folded in 1957, due to financial problems. They were replaced in the League by Cork Hibernians.

It was formed in 1924 as Football Union of Macedonia and Thrace and it administrated football in the regions of West Macedonia, Central Macedonia and East Macedonia and Thrace. Since 1935 its area of responsibility was restricted within the borders of the Prefecture of Thessaloniki. Founding members of the union were Aris, Iraklis and Megas Alexandros.

The club was founded in 1950 as Comber Youth Club. Its home ground is located at Parkway in Comber. The team are managed by Gareth McKeown and Mark Picking. In addition to its first XI, Comber also fields two reserve teams and multiple youth teams. The 2nd XI currently play in the Amateur League Division 3A while the 3rd XI are in Division 1 of the Down Area Winter Football League.

Sirocco Works Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate football club playing in Division 1A of the Northern Amateur Football League. Established in 1924, the club is the longest existing club in all the intermediate and junior divisions in Northern Ireland. The club currently play matches at Dixon Park in East Belfast. The club also fields a second team in Division 3B of the Amateur League as well as several youth teams.
Sammy Hughes was a footballer who played in the Irish League with Glentoran in the 1950s. He signed from Larne in September 1949, He won two Irish League championships, one Irish Cup (1950/51), one Gold Cup, three City Cups and two Ulster Cups. He was capped eight times by the Irish League and scored five goals. He was the Ulster Footballer of the Year for the 1952/53 season. He later played for Larne and Carrick Rangers, winning the B Division title with the latter in 1961/62.
The Irish Intermediate League was a Northern Irish football competition for teams of intermediate status, which also included reserve sides of senior teams. The league ran from 1915 until 1954.
