Larne is a town on the east coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, with a population of 18,755 at the 2011 Census. It is a major passenger and freight roll-on roll-off port. Larne is administered by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. Together with parts of the neighbouring districts of Antrim and Newtownabbey and Causeway Coast and Glens, it forms the East Antrim constituency for elections to the Westminster Parliament and Northern Ireland Assembly. The civil parish is in the historic barony of Glenarm Upper.

Newtownabbey is a large settlement north of Belfast city centre in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. It is separated from the rest of the city by Cavehill and Fortwilliam golf course. It surrounds Carnmoney Hill, and was formed from the merging of several small villages including Whiteabbey, Glengormley and Carnmoney. David Clements is a former football player and manager from Northern Ireland. He started his career as a left winger but also played as a defensive midfielder and left full back. During a career which lasted from 1964 to 1976, playing for Coventry City, Sheffield Wednesday and Everton, he would make a total of 392 league appearances and score 32 goals. He played 48 times for the Northern Ireland national team between 1965 and 1976 scoring two goals. He then managed the national team for two years in 1975 and 1976 before moving to the NASL in the United States.

Bloomfield Football Club is a Northern Irish intermediate football club playing in Division 1C of the Northern Amateur Football League. The club formed in the 1922 as the 24th O.B., composed of former members of the 24th Belfast Boys' Brigade company. In 1990, they changed their name to Bloomfield upon joining the Amateur League (having spent some 30 years in the BB Old Boys' Union League. They play their home matches at the Orangefield playing fields complex at Houston Park, Belfast. The first team manager is Billy Carson and is backed up by assistant managers Colin Rooney and Sammy Spence. As well as the first team, there is a second team playing in the NAFL Division 3B and a third team in the premier league of the South Antrim Football League. There are also 6 youth teams ranging from Under 16's down to Under 10's.
Belfast Celtic Football Club is an intermediate, Northern Irish football club playing in the Ballymena & Provincial Intermediate League. The club hails from Belfast and plays its home games at Páirc Na gCeiltigh, which is in the west of the city. It was founded as Sport & Leisure Swifts in 1978, although the clubs views its rebranding in 2019 as the beginning of a new club, when it was rebranded as Belfast Celtic.
