Oreobates zongoensis is a species of frog in the family Strabomantidae. It is endemic to Bolivia from Valle del Zongo, in Pedro Domingo Murillo Province. [1] [2] [4]
The holotype, an adult male, measures 29 mm (1.1 in) in snout–vent length. The head is slightly wider than the body and slightly wider than it is long. The snout is subacuminate. The canthus rostralis is evident. The tympanum is visible. Skin of head, dorsum, flanks, and hind limbs strongly and uniformly tuberculate, while skin of forelimbs and ventral surfaces is smooth. The fingers and toes have small discs but no webbing or lateral fringes. The head, dorsum, and flanks are dark pinkish brown, without any markings. The upper surfaces of forelimbs and posterior hind limbs are purple to brown, while the chest and ventral sides of forelimbs pinkish and the venter and ventral sides of hind limbs are pinkish brown. The iris is orange and has fine, black reticulum. [3]
Oreobates zongoensis is only known from Zongo Valley. [1] [2] [4] The holotype was collected during daytime in a small cavity under a large stone in disturbed montane rainforest at elevation of 1,250 m (4,100 ft) above sea level. [1] [3] The type locality has been entirely destroyed with the construction of a hydroelectric power plant. [1] [4] In 2016, several more were discovered in an intact forest patch in the Zongo Valley. [1]
Oreobates is a genus of frogs in the family Strabomantidae. Most species were formerly in the genus Ischnocnema, but were moved to this revalidated genus following a 2006 revision. Its sister taxon is Lynchius.

Pristimantis danae is a species of frog in the family Strabomantidae, sometimes known as Cuzco robber frog. It is found in the Andes between southern Peru and north-western Bolivia. It is named after the daughter of the author, Dana K. Duellman, who helped in collecting the frogs. Pristimantis reichlei, described in 2009, was previously confused with Pristimantis danae.
Pristimantis lindae is a species of frog in the family Strabomantidae. It is endemic to Peru and only known from Kosñipata Valley on the northeastern slopes of the Cadena de Paucartambo, a frontal range of the Cordillera Oriental in Cusco Region. The specific name lindae honors Linda Trueb, an American herpetologist and wife of William E. Duellman, the species describer. Nevertheless, common name Santa Isabel robber frog has been coined for this species.
Diasporus quidditus is a species of frogs in the family Eleutherodactylidae. It is found in eastern Panama and northwestern Colombia. The specific name quidditus is derived from English word quiddity, which the describer John Douglas Lynch encountered in the book "Quiddities: An Intermittently Philosophical Dictionary" by Willard Van Orman Quine; he thought the name was apt because the species was small and had been confused with Diasporus vocator and Diasporus gularis.
