Osmond is located at 42°40′41″N110°55′59″W / 42.67806°N 110.93306°W , [5] in Star Valley on Wyoming Highway 241, 3 miles (5 km) south of the town of Afton. Highway 236 forms the northern edge of the community, and U.S. Route 89 forms the eastern edge. Osmond is 3 miles (5 km) east of the community of Fairview.
