Donald Bryce Carr OBE was an English cricketer who played for Derbyshire from 1946 to 1967,for Oxford University from 1948 to 1951,and twice for England in 1951/52. He captained Derbyshire between 1955 and 1962 and scored over 10,000 runs for the county.

He made one Test appearance for England,in 1931. An all-rounder,Lee was a right-handed batsman and bowled both off break and slow-medium pace bowling with his right arm. He scored 1,000 runs in a season on thirteen occasions. Part of the County Championship winning sides in 1920 and 1921,Lee aggregated 20,158 runs and took 401 wickets in first-class cricket.
Albert Edward Ernest Vogler was a South African cricketer. A leading all-rounder skilled both at batting and bowling,Vogler played cricket in South Africa prior to becoming eligible to play for Middlesex County Cricket Club in England after serving on the ground staff of the Marylebone Cricket Club at Lord's. He rose to prominence during the 1906 home Test series and then in England the following year:he was described during the latter as the best bowler in the world by Tip Foster,and named a Wisden Cricketer of the Year.
Isaac Daniel "Izak" Buys (born 4 February 1895,death date 9 Oct 1946 in the Grootte Schuur Hospital,Cape Town was a South African cricketer.
Pieter Gerhard Vintcent van der Bijl was a South African cricketer who played in 5 Tests in 1938–39. His son,Vintcent,also had a successful first-class cricket career.
The England cricket team toured South Africa from 8 November 1938 to 14 March 1939,playing five Test matches against the South Africa national team and 13 tour matches against various provincial sides. England won the third Test by an innings and 13 runs,but the other four Tests finished as draws,including the final timeless Test,which was played over the course of 10 days. The final Test was declared a draw,as the England team had to leave to ensure they caught the boat home from Cape Town.

He was also a successful Association football player. He was born at Newton Heath,Manchester and died at West Didsbury,also in Manchester.
Sydney Austen Cowper was a South African-born cricketer whose six-match first-class career spanned from 1908 to 1924. He played once for Western Province in South African domestic cricket,twice for the Argentine national side,and finally three times for Rhodesia.
Captain Dudley Henry Forbes played first-class cricket for Oxford University and the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). Born in Ireland and educated in England,he was an officer of the British Army during the Second Boer War,but died during the conflict.
