Otaq Sara (Persian : اطاق سرا‎, also Romanized as Oţāq Sarā; also known as Ojāq Sarā and Oţāq Sar)^[1] is a village in Gatab-e Jonubi Rural District, Gatab District, Babol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,468, in 349 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Gatab-e Jonubi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Gatab District, Babol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 14,743, in 3,532 families. The rural district has 19 villages.
