Oxford Road is a two-way street in Kowloon Tsai (often regarded as Kowloon Tong),Kowloon City District,Hong Kong.
Completed in mid-1950s, [1] Oxford Road was named after Oxford,England as one of the Kowloon Tong streets which were named after places in Britain by the British colonial authorities. Oxford,being a heritage-rich city in England,was chosen as the first name of all the Kowloon Tong streets. [2]
Oxford Road runs from Oxford Road Playground to Hereford Road near Sunderland Estate. Succeeding Flint Road at a roundabout near Ho Tung Road,Oxford Road runs northward in a divided dual-carriageway until it meets Lancashire Road near Lannox Gardens. Crossing the junction,Oxford Road merges into a two-way street which continues to run northbound. It meets Moray Road,Selkirk Road and Hampshire Road respectively on the west side and then intersects with Durham Road near Kowloon Tsai House tennis court. After Durham Road,Oxford Road meets Wiltshire Road on the west and finally terminates at Hereford Road near Sunderland Estate and Mary Rose School. [3]
Oxford Road is home to many schools such as,beginning from Oxford Road Playground,Maryknoll Convent School,Caritas Francis Hsu College,Creative Primary School,TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College,Jockey Club Government Secondary School,Kei Wa Primary School (Kowloon Tong) and Bishop Hall Jubilee School,together with,formerly,Ying Wa College and Pui Shing Middle School (Renamed Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School in 1992). Tai Kok Tsui is an area west of Mong Kok in Kowloon,Hong Kong. The mixed land use of industrial and residential is present in the old area. The Cosmopolitan Dock and oil depots were previously located there. Blocks of high-rise residential buildings have been erected on the reclaimed area to the west,which marked the revitalisation of the area with many restaurants and bars setting up shop. Many of the older residential buildings have been vacated and are set to be replaced by high-rise residential and commercial buildings.

Quarry Hill is a hill east of Ho Man Tin near the east coast of the Kowloon Peninsula in Hong Kong where present-day Ho Man Tin (South) Estate is located. Its peak is 106.8 metres (350 ft) high. The area was once zoned as the Shek Shan Resettlement Area (石山徙置區),above Kau Pui Lung Road and near present-day Lok Man Sun Chuen.
Lei Yue Mun Road is a major road in Lam Tin,Hong Kong. It runs from the junction with Tsui Ping Road and Kwun Tong Road near MTR Kwun Tong station to the roundabout with Ko Chiu Road near Lei Yue Mun Estate in Yau Tong. The westernmost section of Lei Yue Mun Road is a part of Hong Kong Route 7 and serves as a connection between Route 7 and Route 2.
Kowloon Tsai is a place between Kowloon City and Kowloon Tong in Hong Kong. It was formerly a village in a valley,developed into a low-density residential area in New Kowloon. Due to the ambiguity of the area's west boundary and the opening of the nearby Kowloon Tong station in 1979,this place is now frequently regarded as a part of the Kowloon Tong area.
