The Indonesian football league system is a series of league system for association football clubs in Indonesia. Since 1994, Liga Indonesia is the league competition featuring association football clubs, as a result of two existing top-flight football leagues merger: Perserikatan (amateur) and Galatama. Liga Indonesia is managed by PSSI, the Indonesian national football federation.
Sriwijaya Football Club, commonly known as Sriwijaya [sriwiˈdʒaja] or SFC, is an Indonesian professional football club based in Palembang, South Sumatra, that competes in the Liga 2, the second tier of Indonesian football. The club was founded on 23 October 2004 after the South Sumatra government bought Persijatim Solo FC, which was based in Surakarta. Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Kuta Raja, commonly known as Persiraja, is an Indonesian football club based in Banda Aceh, Aceh. They are currently competing in the Liga 1. They play their home matches at Harapan Bangsa Stadium. Their most memorable achievements is when they became champion of Perserikatan in 1980.
Gayo Lues Regency is a regency in the Aceh Special Region of Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency was created in 2002 under Statute UU 4/2002 from the northern part of Aceh Tenggara. Its capital is Blangkejeren. The regency covers an area of 5,549.91 square kilometres and had a population of 79,560 at the 2010 Census and 99,532 at the 2020 Census. Along with the Central Aceh Regency and the Bener Meriah Regency, it is home to the Gayo people.
Central Aceh Regency is a regency in Aceh Special Region of Indonesia. It is located on Sumatra island. Formerly this regency covered a much larger area; in 1969, the Southeast Aceh Regency was separated from the Central Aceh Regency, and in 2003 the Bener Meriah Regency was separated from the remaining Central Aceh Regency. The remaining regency covers an area of 4,454.04 square kilometres and had a population of 175,527 according to the 2010 census, which rose to 215,576 at the 2020 Census. Most of its inhabitants are Gayo. Central Aceh is famous for its Lake Laut Tawar. Its capital is Takengon, in Lut Tawar District.
Liga 2 is the second-tier of the football competition system in Indonesia, organized by PSSI. Before 2017, this competition was named the Liga Indonesia Premier Division.
Persatuan Sepakbola Indonesia Bojonegoro commonly known as Persibo, is an Indonesian football club in Bojonegoro. The Club plays in the Liga 3 Indonesia. In 2010, Persibo played in the Indonesia Super League after winning Divisi Utama previous season. In 2012, Persibo won Piala Indonesia after defeating Semen Padang in the final and represented Indonesia in AFC Cup 2013.

Liga Primer Indonesia (LPI) was an Indonesian independent football league held in 2011. It was managed by Konsorsium Liga Premier Indonesia and PT Liga Primer Indonesia and was not recognized (initially) by the PSSI. Nineteen clubs took part in its inaugural and only season which was running from January to May 2011. The first kick-off was held on 8 January 2011 in Manahan Stadium, Solo, Central Java. Despite its original full-season schedule, the league was then stopped during the half-season break when Persebaya 1927 was currently leading the table.

They currently compete in the Liga 1, the top-flight league in Indonesia. Bhayangkara won the 2017 Liga 1 competition.
